Isn't Amanda a bit young for that?

With all the aging stuff they can do in the TV showbiz I'm not too worried. Remember Weir in Before I Sleep? I think Amanda could pull off different roles and different ages pretty well.

It still begs the question of why anyone would want to make Amanda look old! Surely there are more age-appropriate roles she could play in the meantime and then maybe consider it in 15 years or so?

Well why doesn't she just play that woman in silent witness?? ooh I forgot her name in the serie...is also a Sam. And her real name is Amanda Burton...
I love that show and I think Amanda Tapping would do a great job in investigating something!

I was thinking more of playing Amanda Donohoe's character in "Murder City" alongside Kris Marshall, she's cool and snarky and funny and kicks @$$! *digs out name* DI Susan Alembic!

I'd say yes maybe as a one-off TV special but in a regular series? Why would you want to spend 5 hours a day for years in a make-up chair having a rubber mask glued to your face?

I know I live in the city where it's filmed and I always said that one day Amanda would visit the set and I'd be out of town... guess where I was when she visited it last year? Down in London for GABIT!!! Lol, I guess I was right!
