Since I'll miss the Childhood's End post-a-thon, let me give my comments now:

    This episode is stupid.

Ford giving kids chocolate is cute.

    Kids hitting Rodney is funny.

    This episode is stupid.

    John and Elizabeth are hot.

    This episode is stupid.

Have a great week, everyone!!! Don't burn down the thread.
We're going to miss you. But thanks for the parting shot of snark. You're right. That episode was stupid. But since it was Gero's first effort, that's almost a given. Look what he does when left alone.

I have to laugh this afternoon, anyway. After such a useless morning, they had a "scheduled" fire drill that neither myself or the teacher knew about, so I ran from a kickball field to hear the words "fire drill" on the PA. Then I get to 7th period class a little early to jump on the computer, and the test that they had today is cancelled, and the class is just sitting around. So more free time, yay!

Then my mother calls me and wants me home ASAP after work because a plumber is coming and she doesn't want to be alone.

So I'll be hiding on my laptop in the living room, writing fic.

9 guests! Come on out and play!

Best thing about MartyG? He seems clueless enough to write solid shippy moments for a ship he's supposedly against of. Thanks, Marty.
I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.

And then he comes out and says "Sometimes a hug is just a hug." I mean, really?

            ROFL.

Sometimes it works to our advantage when the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing, and if it doesn't, well, that's why we write fanfic. Heh.

Heading home, will try and pop up again before dinner.

Sorry Marty, but Freud would totally pwn your ass with his interpretation of that event.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

Reeeeeeeeaaaallllyyyy. I like him about as much as I like psychoanalysis. Sometimes one thing, like a cigar, or a hug, means one thing and sometimes it's meaningless. Depends on how you like to have it interpreted. *eyeroll*

Yeah, I mean that hug in Siege was just a bland, forget about it moment. Especially considering how it was filmed and the swelling music that accompanied it. Oh, and also, two show leads definitely had the wrong idea when they played it like it was immensely important to their charterers.

Yes, we're all mad here. Carry on.

(btw people, where is that site where you can make those "Keep calm and - " posters?)

All too true ... it is one of my least favorite episodes.

                          ShipperWriter ...
By the way I love your Detectives and Doctors fic. Nice to see all of our favorite characters in an alternative setting.
