I want this. I want this now. We should've had this all along, because letting Elizabeth actually get out into the field and use her diplomatic skills would've shown why she's such an important character to the show.

And yes, the potential for drama with Sheppard and his team would be quite nice. A thinking person's eye candy.

We've had some fantastic prompts already but if you have a plot bunny running around related to Sam, Janet, Vala, Elizabeth, Teyla or Jennifer and want to submit it, please feel free!! Okay I got a little problem and I think you guys could help me with it ^^ I´m making a Elizabeth/Torri-Moodtheme for lj, because I really really want one of my favorite character and I bet others would like to see/use one too. But there are still some moods missing and maybe you could come up with some scenes from the show or of Torri in another film or dvd-special:

bouncy (I do have on for that mood, but it´s not perfekt)
creative
dirty (I was thinking of sth. from TLG but I didn´t find anything fitting)
ditzy
drunk
envious
giggly
grumpy
horny
hyper
jealous
naughy
nerdy
silly

I hope you can help me with them

Drunk: Two scenes come to mind: 1) In rising towards the end when they're standing on the balcony and Weir and the other toast, or 2) I can't remember the name of the ep, but it's the one where Shep and McKay enter the ship and plug themselves in and there's a Wraith there posing as that woman (who McKay think sis hot *g*). At the end, the whole team + Weir raise their glasses in salute. ETA: Aurora is the name of the ep

Nerdy: Maybe when she finds the Ancient writing on the planet that John got stuck on? Again I can't remember the name.. It starts with E I think

Ditzy: There has to be something from Irrisistable for this

Horny: Either one of the kisses. Though for horny I'd probably go for the TLG one.

It was Sunday and I think the scientist's name she was with was Mike.

bouncy: There's a video of Torri dancing in leather somewhere...

creative: Working on the machines or tablet pad in Tao of Rodney or Echoes; working on the paper in "The Real World"; holding up the pot in "Before I Sleep".

ditzy: The scene from Irresistible where she's laughing in the cafeteria

grumpy: Her face in the scenes where she's fighting with John in Hot Zone. Or where she's irritated with IOC in "Intruder" and in "Misbegotten".

jealous: maybe one of the scenes from Progeny where she's admiring the bigger, better Atlantis? Liz is not much of a jealous girl.

Derogatory terms are inappropriate, things like Spud, McIcky and others. This ties in with our 'no character/pairing bashing' rule.

When you quote pictures, snip out the IMG tags so that the quoted photo is nothing more than a link. If you quote a picture and leave the IMG tags intact, your post can be deleted.

Anything posted inline, gifs, images, ANYTHING must be less than 100K in file size. We have some threads that are so incredibly bogged down with oversized photos that people are literally avoiding the thread because they bog down on high speed.

Check the size of your sig. ALL sigs must take up a space of no more than 200 pixels tall, 700 wide and have a total file size of 50K or less. Folks, your sig should be a fun and SHORT little thing, not a dissertation on everything you like/dislike or every single website you've ever visited. And it certainly should not be larger than your average post.

The mods are gonna start lurking in the various wow and thunk threads. We see inappropriate posts, we're gonna delete them. If we continually have to remind people of the rules, we may look into restricting your posting.

Just take a look at your posts and what you've been doing. If you've been following the rules, you're gonna have nothing to worry about. If you've been bending them, then here's your chance to alter your posting styles.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask any mod.

Update for viewers in the US: Torri's two episodes of NCIS are coming up for reruns again in the next two weeks.

Her first episode, Season 5's Identity Crisis, will be airing tomorrow, June 30, at 7pm on the USA network. Her second episode, Season 6's Broken Bird, will be airing the following week, on Tuesday, July 7 at 8pm on CBS.

I hope you don't mind my stopping by to announce the Women of the Gate Ficathon is now open for Writer sign-ups!

Anyone can participate - we're all about encouraging as many as people as possible to have a go! Even if you've never written a fic before - why not have a go!

There's only a 500 word minimum length and a bumper crop of prompts (including lots of Elizabeth ones) which you can find here . Just choose a prompt to take part (or two! or three!)

We're also really pleased to invite artists this year to also take part. If graphics is your things, feel free to take inspiration from our prompts. Your work will be posted along with the fics!
