I posted this on the thunk thread...so I will also post it here as well..this is a poem I wrote back in 2001 to honor the memory of those lost on 9/11...we will never forget...

I will shed tears for every lost soul,

pen a thousand and one words.

give a million red roses for their memory,

hugs and smiles to every family that felt loss.

a kind word and a thank you to all those who died in order to protect their fellow men,

all of this I would do again and again.

if only all who were lost could come back to life,

only then would things be set right.
