Having spent just a few hours with me, how did your opinion of me get to be so low?

You forget that most of that time was spent drinking... *giggles*

I have Shep next to me so I stare at him a few hours a day as well

Plus my desk was never moved...and I'm using the stapler I got from my roommate, which has pink staples!

And I have cake and free lunches at work.

Not complaining.

Do you remember when I was complain about my friend's wedding? well I won't go there and....even better, for those holidays I'm going to stay some days chez my friend akachan
Just bought 2 of my train tickets...cos we live SO close..
- 20 min by car to the nearest train station
- 1 h by train until Milan
- 20 min by metro to change station
- 1 h by fast train until Bologna (with a normal train more than 2h)
- 30 min by train until Ferrara

car, metro and 3 trains! It took me less time to go to London!

Oh, good for you Sil So much better to spend your time with someone who's company you really enjoy, even if it is a pain to get there! I'm sure I'd get lost if I had to do a journey like that

As for the earlier body image convo. I never really fuzzed about the way people saw me. Sure I had moments thinking: ''Maybe I should lose some weight'' but I mostly shrugged them off.
I've gotten some visible burn scars on my face and hands when I was a little over a year and I think that growing up with those and a view on life that pretty much made me realize that people love you, even when you're 'not perfect', really made me not bother as much. Who cares about a tummy? I'm just glad to, you know... still be alive.

Ah how lucky you are in your parents! I've always envied you your Mom - mine wood have been delighted to have such an obvious imperfection to pick at and point out to the world
