Well, they have to dumb him down somehow to make their precious Carter shine. Can't have too many bright moments.

Lets not compare apples with Blondes . With SGA, Mckay specialised in a certain type of Ancient tech, with S9 and S10 of SG1 Carter specialised in a different type of Ancient tech. Rodney builds PJ hyperdrives, Carter plays with phase shifting devices, etc. In my opinion they need to complement themselves in order to be successful. Usually Zelenka did this, so what will happen to him?

Have you seen "Grace under Pressure" or any other episode where Carter and McKay are together the last two years?

Have you seen Pegasus Project? I do not want that. Grace under pressure was an Atlantis thing and Carter was not a regular, whereas, all the bad moments with Rodney happen on SG1. Having said that, let me rephrase . Will Rodney become the beep he is in SG1 with Carter being on Atlantis?

*sighs* Don't get me started on "The Tower". Why, for the love of having cool flying cities, don't they take the damned city from those primitives? It's not like those primitives need it...and it's also not like the Expedition could use another Ancient city to help fight the Wraith et al...

Ah, but you're forgetting: Carter is an expert on everything. Plus the writers only know how to write one McKay/Carter interaction, and therefore poor Zelenka will be forced to mediate between the two. Either that or he'll die/fade away.

And if somebody could tell me please - why do alien planets look all the same??! All of them look like medieval cities with bunch of big breasted chicks dressed in a way to leave little room for imagination - when it comes to upper parts, that is.

*coughs* Blame it on the producers, they want to spend lots of money on SFX instead of going to new locations or thinking up new civilization types.
