acts as a shield against energetic particles. so just build an entire magnetic shield around your craft and no energy gun hurts

What about that ship from "Daedalus Variations"-that took several hits to take down its shields let alone the fact that we have no idea about what type of vessel. We do know its weapons depleted Atlantis's shields so even a ZedPM'd 304 would struggle.

its weapons DIDNT deplete atlantis shield. it couldnt. its so utterly impossible. those bolts wouldve been teraton levels and above, like 10% of a ZPM, to deplete it that fast. atlantis' ZPM was most likely nearly depleted already

I find it doubtful, given the fact that their fighters got spanked by 302's and it only took a few shots from our beam weapons to put them out of commission.

If they had almighty weapons on their capital ships, I'm sure their fighters would be capable of quite a bit as well. And their hand weapons weren't all that great either.

Alkesh weapons aren't that much more powerful, the number of Darts will make up the different. Several hundred darts could take down our shields quite easily IMO...obviously we wouldn't have to fight them all unless our hyperdrive was out.

The Daedalus withstands fire from what, like 6 to 8 Hives plus several more Cruisers for several minutes in Season 2.

I find it hard to believe that 100 darts would have more fire power then several Hives.

No it didn't. It took fire from no more than 3 Hives + maybe 4 cruisers at once and it was on the verge of shield failure in about a minute. The Wraith were also trying to capture the Deadalus.
