I used to think so, strongly, but I watched Grace Under Pressure a few days ago. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it, quite much, in fact. Maybe because I knew it was Rodney's fantasy. I may feel very differently if it were Sam's or the TPTB's.

You know how almost every series has the requisite episode where the story is told from different POVs (re: TXF, CSI, Supernatural)? It'd probably be pretty hilarious if there was a story told from at least Sam and Rodney's perspectives, with the others thrown in there for good measure as well.

Hmm story told from Sam's perspective...oh yea that was done in Grace but if it was to be Rodney in the scene would he be wearing a pink tutu (pink tutu brought to you from another thread)

Just been playing "Stargate Monopoly". One of Amy's friends handmade a monopoly set from scratch. Each "road" is a Stargate planet, the money has SGC/1 members on it, the banker is called "Davies" and you pay money to the pentagon! You buy treaties and bases for your planets, not houses and hotels and it totally ROCKS!

Here's a pic of Amy and Louisa with it. I'll try and get more pics of the set tomorrow.

I watched the shuttle launch this morning (evening US) and I wonder what goes through Sam's mind when something from the traditional space program comes to her attention?

Happiness at the set of circumstances that changed her course and led her to the Stargate?

I bet she's thinking she's done way cooler things than that....and if you think about it, she's been in a space shuttle(The Serpent's Lair),

I think so. NASA would have been cool, but nothing compared to actually going to other planets. Of course with NASA she wouldn't have been risking her life on a weekly basis.

I caught a bit of a History Channel program on "extreme aircraft" (I think it was called) and they were featuring the Air Force.

Including:
and UAVs. I had to think of Sam. (All flight paths lead to Amanda/Sam)

I also had to think of the Carter Copter. Who has that image and would you be willing to repost it? (too lazy to go find it right now. )
