One Christmas I went out of my way to buy my brother and his GF a basket filled with small kitchen appliances. It had one of those pan-lickers, a timer, magnets, knifes, a Delft blue porcelain wooden shoe and more. It was actually one of the best presents I had ever given.
So my advise: Work from what you know he loves and build something around it.

Wood Morning Woohoos
Well it's official, the hottest city in the world yesterday was LONDON!! Hotter than Sydney, hotter than The Muldives! See? I haven't just been whingeing about a little extra heat
Despite that, and the late afternoon nap yesterday, I managed to sleep ALL NIGHT! WooHooooooood!!!
Although I must have woken up at some point, because my 'dream' notebook has a whole page of almost totally illegible scribble in it
The idea is that if I wake from a dream I write it down in case I can't remember it in the morning, but all I can get from this one is that we were in a shopping precinct and Martin turned to me and said "You want me to get you how much of what?" weird...........
