Hurray Sarai - hope the job turns out to be very very special! I know you have the talent and capability to do a great job.

Jumble - Haven't watch GoT yet - really wasn't interested when I saw a few episodes (the pay channels give free time every once in a while) - although it was in the middle of a bunch of episodes so I really didn't understand what was happening.... and I agree, quite gory! All though I would like to see the Hobit movie!

Nola - hope they straighten out your blood pressure problem. It took quite a while and about 6 different meds until they realized that the "normal" meds for that didn't work for me. As soon as I got on a calcium blocker it dropped it right down to 118/70 or there abouts.

As for feeling lonely - I've lived alone (by choice) for some time now and prefer it. Don't want a room mate or a bedmate (although maybe on occasions ) = but then that is me. I like the solo life style sprinkled with friends on occasions! (oh and a con or two) However, as I get older it doesn concern me some - I have a feeling one day I will become dinner (and snacktime) for my felines! Especially if they don't get fed everyday!

Her mind is alright, the body not so much. She has pretty nasty radiation burns causing her a lot of pain and quite a lack of sleep with that. The chemo isn't too much of a problem for her.
There are six weeks of radiation behind her now and probably two more to go before they start planning what to do after that. All in all, she's still kicking bum.
...Eventhough hers is hurting quite a bit now.

Sounds like the worst bit is almost over though; hopefully the next couple of weeks will fly by and she can start to heal. Then you get to find out just how much bum kicking you did on the nasty C. Fingers crossed you kicked it good and proper.

Meh, it's not really over after this round. Next to this tumor, there's also breast cancer. It's a lesser concern according to the doctors, but she'll need some more treatment or that. The chemo she's taking is already working on it as well, but she'll probably get surgery to remove that tumor. It's been a first things first type of situation, but yeah. Kicking bum that one. I'm proud of my crazy mom.

Sorry I have been quiet too. You can partly blame Jumble because she's got me hooked in Game of Thrones thralldom too. I am simultaneously reading the books and watching the series. I'm managing to keep level with the episodes in the book so far (just). Oh and Jumble that thing about that sticky wish I had... yes, I saw that. and I'm also Yaying over the same folks you are too.
