Shore Leave 31 July 10-12,2009

Just got back from my family vacation. I am really looking forward to this. I am so glad to hear that CH will be there. I just got my picture with him from Vancouver printed out so I hope to have him sign it.

I plan to pack lots of snacks because you rarely get a chance to sit down for a full meal. I like to bring protein bars because it far more filling then a candy bar and keeps my blood sugar steady. Lots of water is always good as well. I love that I can drive down and bring everything I need. I do like to sneak to Panera in the morning because they have a great breakfast.

I agree with you on the snacks I usually pack dried fruit, fruit roll ups, some kind of chips, and cookies or crackers in my lunch box to snack on during the day. I also carry water or soda with me. Driving in is a plus because you can bring everything with you. I am getting some Panera stuff from the one at home on Thursday. They have a great Coffee Cake. It usually lasts us through the weekend.

I have to watch True Blood online. It sucks because I haven't found a site that has the last 2 episodes online.

I have to do it the same way as we don't have HBO.

I am already packing. I am having a hard time not spending money at the book store between now and the con. I am currently addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The novels are what the show True Blood is based on. So I might have to pack them.

I am ready for the con but I am not sure if I have any vacation time at work. My manager Tiffany is going to look into it. If I don't have vacation time, that just means that the paycheck will be alot smaller. Because I work most of my hours on the weekends.

I just saw the work schedule for this week for me. I got July 4 off. I'm not gonna volunteer to work but I will if they ask me. I figure that I can make sure that I pack everything then. I'm getting the suitcases down on Wednesday. So I am preping for packing.

I just picked up season 5 of Atlantis. I am so ready for the con. I am packing my suitcase starting tomorrow. Donna from Agents With Style sent me a confirmation and price on my Zine pre-order. I am doing some pre con shopping tomorrow. I am going to get the soda and some other things that I need at Wal-Mart. I already hit the grocery store for some snacks that I had coupons for. I hit Target for Starbucks frapachino bottles 4 pack. It was $2.00 cheaper than the supermarket. So I have started getting ready for the con.
