A whole month?!?

Over here students are either studying (classes end next week for universities and colleges - exams start second week of January), or dragging themselves through exam/test-weeks (highschool & primary school). So the first group will have to study during christmas-break (two weeks) and the latter will have time to recharge for the next semester (or come up with a plan to work around their failed exams).

Some have two weeks off, others have nothing... and one week (if they're lucky) somewhere at the beginning of february.

And then there are people like me, who drag themselves through another two weeks of work before they are forced to take the remainder of their holidays between christmas and new year's. *grumble* Which basically means I've been craving a day off for 4 weeks now...

Also has a negative impact on fandom-life... thank the goddess my muse hasn't entirely abandoned me otherwise Sparky advent would be in jeopardy.

I have mine in January - quite possibly a good time for writing as my muse will without a doubt try to distract me at every turn. Dangling those damned carrots in front of unsuspecting bunnies.

What plot bunnies do you have going in your mind at the moment?

I have several fics (almost all of them are SGA-related) waiting to be continued - two that I really want to continue because I really love the idea I'm working with. One is an AU set in France during WWII and has Sparky incorporated. I wrote the WWII-AU as a standalone (it is posted as such too) but realized that I could expand and do a lot more with it so that's what I'm doing. The other was supposed to be my Little Bang entry two years ago and is a genuine stargate adventure tale in which there could very well be character deaths (not sure on that last one yet). It does deal with violence, hurt, drama, love, friendship, adventure, loss, whump (and lots of it in all shapes and sizes), ...

I have a giant cross-over fic with Sanctuary/Merlin/SGA that I once started which quite possibly was not my most brilliant idea ever.

Three Sparky-fics that I should finish someday, preferably in my lifetime.

The only plotbunny hopping around though is for Sparky Advent - something with skiing and lots of snow, and fun in the snow and lots of hilarious moments and kissing something better.
I said too much already and I haven't even written it yet.

BTW, for my Sparky Advent contribution, do you think using my twins would be a good idea?

Do remember that most likely people reading your fic might not be in the know about who these two kids are, and you would have to explain their presence before going into your story. You could use 'em sure, but they would be popping out of nowhere for anyone who hasn't read your other fic.

I like the WW2 AU idea. Then again, I'm obsessed with WW2. I could see a whole story for that one.

You could write a sort of prequel, I guess you could call it.

Oh, and Ben Browder looks like a 70's porn star with his mustache. *starts twitching*

Downloading some new graphics. We'll see if the motivation for any artwork surfaces before bed.

Oh, and I got ambushed by a vid bunny on the way home. Not sure if I could get away with it, though, and I would like to finish my BlackHawk vid before I start anything else ...

I wanna add my 2 cents on the whole TRW/CG discussion but can't form a coherent thought on it atm...will do that soon tho...

I'm not totally sure where I stand as far as the progression of Sparky as we saw it on screen...another thing to ponder as I do a re-watch...
