*I call A-Carson over with a single look* I need you to stay here with Beck, do your best to keep her awake while I go to the infirmary for some supplies, Love. *turn back to Beck* Stay with us, Beck Love. No sleep. *I try to get her to open her eyes a bit more before leaving A-Carson sitting beside her, and I give Carson my best "behave-yourself" glare before I walk out, but I don't try to stop him from sitting up with Beck*

*in the hall, I let out a sigh and the tears begin to come, but I know I am needed so I make my way to the infirmary where I gather some supplies before heading back to the Quarters, where I switch out Carson's IV and then retake my place beside Beck, tears still running down my cheeks silently*

(I think I'm channeling how I really feel into this haha. Wonder if Beck is hungry? Well none of us has eaten all day. I woke up with the dream & have been out on the rescue mission all day & now its evening. Where are Shep & Dell? their own quarters?)

(Well she may be hungry but damn if I can keep her awake! She's shaping up to be the biggest challenge to me being a nurse! Last I left Shep and Dell sitting on a couch here in these quarters because Dell's the only other one who isn't injured so I am keeping her nearby in case I need help)

(well I'm not sure what you can do to keep her awake. How long does the effects of a concussion take to subside?)

(A mild one can last about a week altogether, but there comes a point when I can let her sleep so maybe I should get to that point and let her sleep?)

*I look at my watch and realize I have successfully kept Beck awake long enough to make sure she's clear of any lasting damage, so I put her hand down and smile at her*

Alright Beck, you can sleep now, honey. You did good to stay awake for me.
*I watch as she drifts off to sleep and Carson gives me a pained, but grateful smile as I make him lie down again, but don't make him let go of Beck's hand*

A- Y've done well, Love. Amazing for y'r first time goin' it alone. We'll stay in 'ere tonight but you need ta sleep y'self. I'll stay awake a bit an' watch them, I'll wake ye if anything changes. *he smiles at me and we switch chairs so that he is in the upright chair near the bed and I am in the recliner near the couch, exchanging a quick hug and kiss as we pass each other*

I couldn't have done it without your help, A-Carson. I would have never been able to save them without your direction...*I smile tiredly as I begin to doze off in the chair*
