*I sit on the chair with Abby on my lap, I just stare at the floor, not noticing anything going on around me. A blank look is spread across my face. I don't notice Abby slipping from my lap as she joins Carson on the bed*

*I am beginning to be very concerned about Beck, so I get to my knees in front of her and look into her eyes* Beck? Beck, dear...*I touch her arm, hoping for a response, and look back at A-Carson with a worried expression, not particularly caring if Abby sees because I am truly beginning to worry about Beck, and with her Carson out of commission for the moment, it is up to me, with a little help from A-Carson, to keep everything together and I feel like I am losing my grip*

I'm um, well Dell and I, are the only two who didn't get injured somehow on this mission *face palm* so I have to be "Nurse Beckett" and make sure everyone else is alright. Mind it's my first time not having one or the other Carson doing most of the work. Heh.

Well we rescued Abby and are on the Daedalus, orbiting Earth right now, where I am in full "Nurse Beckett" and taking care of everyone...oh did I ever mention to you that at the end of the first mission to Earth, the Carsons gave me several tests and I became an official nurse on Atlantis?

*I look into Beck's face a moment longer, shine my pen light in her eyes and do not get a response from her pupils, confirming my first suspicion, she has a concussion, so I look at A-Carson for help*

A- Make sure she stays awake, Love, talk to 'er. Don't let 'er sleep. Per'aps move 'er to the bed though. *he looks as concerned as I feel, but I stand up and steady myself for a moment, lift Beck easily from her chair because of the adrenaline pumping through me that has me buzzed with energy, and then set her on the bed beside Carson and Abby, talking quietly to her the entire time*

Stay with me Beck, Love. Stay with me. I need you to stay awake, you can't fall asleep on me now. *I move the hair from her face, grateful that the pain killer I'd given her was only a tylenol, the strongest thing you would dare to give someone who might have a concussion*

*Carson looks over, concerned*

Concussion? *he says weakly, attempting to move, but I use one hand to ease him back against the pillow*

Carson, behave yourself and don't move just yet. You're weak and you need to rest. Got it? *I realize that I really do sound like a doctor now and I cannot help but laugh a bit sarcastically to myself, as I move the chair to Beck's side of the bed and sit holding one of her hands in mine and talking to her*

I also have to get on the CA story again. But I'm having trouble getting started on the next chapter.

*Abby has now curled up & fallen asleep on Carson's bed. I feel very tired, I just want to sleep, my eyelids are heavy & threaten to close & I feel too weak to keep myself siting up, Carson is quite worried & sits up ignoring Aang's protests, he reaches out to hold my hand, even though it causes him pain, but he tries to hide it*
Beck? Beck love? Ye have te stay awake, ye can't sleep yet. Beck?
*shakes my hand, but I lay down on my bed & stare blankly at Carson. My eyes are nearly closed*
