So apparently this is now canon.

They make it canon by saying it was a bad dream the Doctor had.

My only question is what drugs did the Doctor take before going to bed. This was trippy

It's a shame that the production team at the time didn't remember The Mind Robber and somehow tie the Dimensions in Time story into the Land of Fiction only it has now evolved to include TV fiction.

Class is back in session! The BBC Doctor Who spin-off, which was cancelled after one series, will return in a collection of audio adventures.

Six new stories will pick up the tale of the Coal School Academy and the group of students – Charlie (Greg Austin), Ram (Fady Elsayed), April (Sophie Hopkins), Tanya (Vivian Oparah), Jordan Renzo (Matteusz) – who protect the earth from a host of alien monsters, with help from their badass teacher Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly).

And not only are the original cast returning to voice their characters but, as confirmed by Doctor Who magazine, they’ll cross paths with Seventh Doctor companion Ace (Sophie Aldred) and the dreaded Daleks.

The new stories will be spread out across two volumes. In the first: Gifted by Roy Gill, Life Experience by Jenny T Colgan and Tell Me You Love Me by Scott Handcock. And in the second: Everyone Loves Reagan by Tom Foley, Now You Know… by Tim Leng and In Remembrance by Guy Adams.

“We’ve had a great deal of fun reuniting the original cast for the audio series, telling brand-new stories set within the TV run whilst tackling a host of alien menaces,” said director and producer Scott Handcock.

“I couldn’t resist linking up the Doctor Who universe – bringing Ace and the Daleks into the world of Class has been an absolute treat. And for full authenticity, we’re lucky to have series composer Blair Mowat return to the world of Class as well.”

Whovians won’t have to wait too long for Class: The Audio Adventures, which will be available to download on bigfinish.com in August.

Doctor Who Back On BBC iPlayer
Monday, 04 June, 2018 - Reported by Marcus

                      http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2018/06...c-iplayer.html

The BBC has announced it is making every episode of Doctor Who made since 2005 available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Ahead of Jodie Whittaker taking up the mantle of the Thirteenth Doctor, all ten series will be available to watch as box sets, plus every special from the past 13 years of the Doctor’s adventures, including mini-episode The Night of the Doctor.

Fans can take the TARDIS back to 2005 to enjoy every moment from Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor first meeting Rose right up to Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor’s final moments in last Christmas’s Twice Upon A Time.

The series has been one of the BBC’s biggest successes since returning in 2005, and has seen an extraordinary number of big names appear on the show. In addition to Eccleston and Capaldi, David Tennant and Matt Smith both had star-making turns as the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor respectively, and big-name guest stars include Carey Mulligan, Simon Pegg, Derek Jacobi, Kylie Minogue, Andrew Garfield, Felicity Jones and Bill Nighy.

The inituative followes recent trials where former series of Our Girl and The Bridge were brought back to BBC iPlayer before the new series aired. The BBC says the returning series of Doctor Who will help to ensure BBC iPlayer is a must-visit destination for viewers this summer.

Dan McGolpin, controller of programming for the BBC, said
We’re reinventing the BBC for a new generation and BBC iPlayer is key to that. Bringing back these series of Doctor Who is just part of our offer this summer giving viewers the chance to uncover or rediscover the Doctor’s previous adventures. You can also watch the World Cup live in UHD, catch-up on the latest stories unfolding in Albert Square and binge-watch box set drama like Our Girl or comedy like This Country. BBC iPlayer will have something for everyone.

Yes, but iPlayer has no subscription fee - if you live in the UK... That's pretty big really.

(Would be bigger if they were doing Classic too..)

Jenny is brand new to the universe. Born a soldier, made for war, she has a Time Lord’s heritage. Luckily, that Time Lord is the Doctor. She’s ready to save planets, fight monsters, and save the day, using nothing but her bravery, wit and instinct – and an awful lot of running.

1.1 Stolen Goods by Matt Fitton Jenny is new to the universe and keen to explore – but in unfamiliar spaceships, accidents happen. She’s lucky to have someone on-hand to help. A slippery, fast-talking someone, called Garundel. Soon, Jenny is mixed up in cons and explosions. But she also finds something strange, inexplicable, and as new to universe as she is. She’ll call him Noah.

1.2 Prisoner of the Ood by John Dorney Moving into Leafield Crescent, Angie Glazebrook is surprised by an unexpected caller. But not half as surprised as Jenny, suddenly transported to a suburban close on twenty-first century Earth. And that’s nothing to the surprise of the neighbours when alien visitors start appearing. Visitors with tentacled mouths, carrying death-dealing orbs. The Ood have come for their prisoner…

1.3 Neon Reign by Christian Brassington The Dragon Lord rules Kamshassa with fear. Half the oppressed population live in an addicted stupor, while the other half are forced into service. Factories belch poisonous smoke, and Dragon Guards patrol the streets, condemning dissenters to the Eternal Fire. When Jenny and Noah arrive, it’s only a matter of time before they start a revolution.

1.4 Zero Space by Adrian Poynton Out in deep space, in the middle of – quite literally – nowhere, Jenny and Noah believe they’ve found a safe haven. And, very possibly, some answers. But the space station holds many secrets, and it won’t be long before Jenny’s past catches her up. Bounty hunter COLT-5000 is on her trail and will stop at nothing to hunt down its quarry… even in Zero Space!
