Trek Goes Boldly To DVD - Region 2 UPDATE

On Nov. 17, 2009, Paramount Home Entertainment will release the latest installment in the Star Trek franchise on DVD and Blu-ray. There will be three releases in all, a three-disc Blu-ray with a digital copy, a two-disc DVD with a digital copy and a single-disc DVD.

Director J.J. Abrams' reinvention of the Star Trek franchise was hailed by critics and embraced by long-time and new fans alike, earning over $375 million at the worldwide box office to date. Starring a new, young cast including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Anton Yelchin and Simon Pegg, the global smash hit also features seasoned actors such as Eric Bana, Bruce Greenwood, Winona Ryder and the original Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.

They are talking about a new technology coming out for the DVD release to work with web cams.

I don't know if that's been mentioned.
