What a pairing those two make. They're actually the focus of my all-time favourite Voyager ep (well it's more B'Elanna but Tom's a big part too) "Lineage."

I think they're a great pairing just because of where they both come from. They've both got this past or this background that they're not either proud of or comfortable with. It's interesting to then see them try to work out how to be with each other while struggling to work out exactly who they are and where they're (both as individuals and together) going to fit.
You've got me really excited now I wish I'd watched this show when it was originally on. Oh well, I'm glad I found it and have the opportunity to watch it. Although it's only on twice a day

That's why I love my DVD's ... Instant Voyager whenever I want it. Love it. And even though I have the DVDs I still watch whenever I notice it on TV.

I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts (especially about B'Elanna and Tom/B'Elanna) as you see more and more.

Speaking of those two, I just saw Blood Fever the other day. Nice little bit of teasing going on there at the end. "Be careful what you wish for Lt."

Oo, "Blood Fever" I love the way they use lightining in that episode, especially between Tom and B'Elanna, very cool.

Yeah that is a nice ep...Especially it shows that from the beginning there was something there...that was an ep from season 2 right?? I loved that she choose Tom and not Chackotay...Cause I mean in every aspect she and Chakotay where also close but they were just friends nothing more...

I still love the ep 'Day of Honor' it shows there who B'elanna and Tom really are... I think from there on they could have done more with character devolpment with B'elanna but it was ok...I loved the end...so sweet... I love it that she tells him what she feels...and how fragile she is in front of him...In a way she always is if she is besides him. She always is fragile and emotional, even though she tries to be strong and though... That is why I like them together that much

I thought for a long time that they were gong to end up pairing B'Elanna with Chakotay. It would've been an interesting relationship but not as rich as the one between Tom and B'Elanna, IMO anyway.

And yeah "Day of Honor" was a great episode. I love the arc that B'Elanna goes through in that episode. The ups and downs she goes through are so well plotted out. And Tom and B'Elanna do really compliment each other. They seem to have some of the same issues, but enough difference between them that they really work.

Caught the end of "Year of Hell" today. Janeway on a deathride into the enemy ship. Classic.

Yeah, I thought it was a good ep. I felt really bad for the crew towards the end, but it all worked out...

I've heard a lot of things about "Endgame" and I can't wait to see it

Voyager is really good at the two parters. I think my favorite is later on in season 4 "The Killing Game." Mind you, "Year of Hell" and "Endgame" are spectacular as well. Although I often find myself laughing during "Year of Hell" becuase I keep waiting for Kurtwood Smith to break into doing his "That 70s Show" character, Red Forman. Though I do really enjoy him in the episode and think he does do a spectacular job as Annorax

LOL...I thought he looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I'd seen him before...

he played it well. the best part of the Year of Hell is when the ship starts to fall apart. i know it not meant to be a good part but it is good to see just how much damage the ship can take

lol yup, it's good old Red Forman. Kurtwood's a great actor though. I believe he's in a few different Star Trek related things. I know he was in a DSN episode as well.

I loved seeing Voyager taking on the damage and watching how hard the crew worked to save her. It really made the ship come alive as a character in the show. And the end of the first part ... It's gut-wrenching watching Janeway give the order she swore she never would.
