es!: Even if we assume that soul leaves brain dead person's body, we still can say that Helen and Niko were not really brain dead - they were brain dead Praxian style (as noted in the episode thread, brain dead can't breath, sit upright etc.). They woke up normal, just like before, so I assume their souls were in place

Their bodies were actually still alive in the real world, if I understood what Will said correctly. Organ systems still functioning, etc. but no brain activity. Their brains existed only in the computer at the time. So to me also that means the soul would still be intact. But I'm sure you could find someone who would disagree.

Promo pics from Syfy are often misleading. Remember there was not even 1 promo pic of 'Resistance' that has Nikola in it? Same for 'Chimera'.
