Happy New Year!

The New Year has begun with a few additional updates on the RDA website.

In response to the many fans who wrote with concern following the news of
the recent fire in Malibu, RDA has written a message assuring everyone that
he and his family are safe and were not affected by the fire's devastation.

Many fans have also written asking about how to send birthday messages to
RDA for his 57th birthday coming up on January 23rd. Because the special
birthday websites that were built in the past have grown to a nearly
unmanageable size, there will not be a separate birthday site this year.
However, fans can still leave a message! Part of the thinking behind setting
up the Fan Mail page on the site was to allow fans an opportunity to leave a
message for special events such as birthdays. With that in mind, please feel
free to follow the link on the "Contacts" page to the "Fan Mail for RDA"
button to leave a message.

***Please remember, however, that the Fan Mail page does not accept images
or HTML coding. If you copy and paste a message from something like an email
or Word document, your message will be filled with illegible tags. Please
just type your message directly into the box, and use the BBCode buttons for
formatting features like bold, underline, color, and adding a link to a URL
or image elsewhere. Then use the "Preview" button to be sure your message
appears as you would like.

In addition to RDA's latest message and the Fan Mail link, you'll also find
the names of the winners of the Stargate SG-1 Ultimate Visual Guide Contest.

I'm hoping I'm in the right place for this. So here goes. I don't know if anyone watches Supernatural on the CW network but because it's filmed in Canada Atlantis guest stars are always popping up in this show. So far I've seen Cadman, Ladon Radim, Sora's father, the trading guy from the ep when Teyla and Ronan went off world and Ronan found out that he wasn't the only survivor from his world. (Sorry, too lazy to go back and be specific on the ep.) Jessica Steen who played the original Dr Weir. Just to name a few. Anyways Supernatural is up there with my fave shows and seeing these guest stars from my other fave show always gives me a kick.

PSYCH is filmed in vancouver so you will undoubtedly see SG alumni on the show. Teryl Rothery and Colin Cunningham played a scheming couple in that episode, which also had the actress who played Novak in SGA/SG1, and David Nykl has been in one as well.
