Hi everyone - I'm new here - now i have to be honest and say i dont think ive seen more than one episode of stargate.... **hides** - but i plan ot get to know it a whole lot better - any emails/pms or whatever would be appreiciated.

Yeah, Atlantis takes a bit of effort to get used to for serious SG-1 fans...at least it did for me.

Give it a try, you'll probably end up liking it more than you expect.

Though my profile we'll say I've been on GW since 2005, I've only started posting this last week... so that makes me a new, doesn't it?

Anyway, SG-1, SG-A & ST:V are my favorite series. As you can probably tell by my nick Jack is my favorite character. I just love his humourous self. There is little un-humour in the guy, honestly. And all his Oz-references... You see where I'm going with all this

And since S 8 I've become very fond of Vala MD, too, as my sig well proves. She's both hot and... priceless. 'Nuff said.

I'll try to read up on the SG-discussion threads whenever I can, avoiding spoilers as I am yet to see Season 10 - the first ep. aired last week. And I've only seen the first season of SG-Atlantis, to my regret... I really hope I'll be able to either see it or get in on DVD...

And as some of you might have seen, I'm very fond of wordgames, so that's where you'll often find me.

Hello!

I've been an SG1 fan for years, but due to appalling finances, loss of cable due to aforementioned appalling finances and Channel 4 / Five being so bad at this odd little thing known as 'continuity', I ended up being out of the SG loop for a while... so, imagine my joy when, upon getting cable back a little while ago, not only was SG1 still on a good 5 times a day, but it was also showing Atlantis, a show I'd only read about before! Joy!

So now I'm totally SG'ed up again and after lurking for a while, I'm champin' at the ole bit to talk to likeminded peeps. So, err, hi!
