New Recurring Character for Season 2 .SPOILER

There was a new casting notice for another recurring character (who will first appear in episode 201) sent out today:

[GINN] Mid 20s- early 30s. She's a Lucian Alliance technician/ science officer.. Girl next door good looks. Smart. She is originally behind the mission the Lucian Alliance are on but starts to question the decisions her leaders are making. RECURRING. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL ETHNICITIES

Well, she's 38, so I don't know if you people consider her too old for the part, but what about Christina Cox for this role. Her last big role on Defying Gravity is up, she has guest starred on two episodes of SG1, one on SGA, and if there's any physical component to the role, her IMDB mini bio states: "She competed in gymnastics, track and field and tae kwan do. She is proficient in boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing and has extensive training in stage combat, period weaponry and firearms.", plus she did the stunt work on Million Dollar Baby. Her 50 credits indicate she has the required acting credentials too. Food for thought.

She is hirable in SGU's budget but the question is what characters has she played on SG1/SGA? Anyone noticeable?

She played the female alien in "Spirits", that other NID agent in "The Sentinel" (the one that died and didn't join with the machine); she also played Major Teldy in "Whispers".

I've read the casting sides for Ginn. The scene is set on the Destiny in an interview room, and Ginn is talking with someone on the Destiny who is called "Darlene" in the sides, but that may just be an attempt to hide the true identity of the character in the scene with Ginn.

Ginn tells Darlene that Destiny is talked about in the legends of the Lucian Alliance as being the key to the laws of the universe (making people as powerful as gods), but until Telford told them that the Destiny was a ship, they didn't know what "Destiny" meant. That's why the Lucian Alliance wants the Destiny so badly.

Ginn also tells Darlene that the Lucian Alliance are warlords who took over her home planet, and that she was forced to join the Alliance to save her family. She tries to convince Darlene that she and some of the other members of the Lucian Alliance being held in the hold pose no danger to the crew of the Destiny. But she also says that she thinks that Earth doesn't have an exclusive right to what the Ancients left behind.
