I hope one day someone revisits sgu to give us that adventure.

There is the question of what clogged up the air filters. After all, if nobody (who breaths oxygen) has been aboard Destiny what is she doing with clogged air filters?

ok there are the 2 forward faceing shuttle bays, and there is a starboard rear facing shuttle bay, i have a picture of it but i cant seem to post it from my computer. if you do a google image search for stargate universe destiny ship look for a image titled
UnknownPod.png you will clearly see it. also if you have the dvd's look at the end of air part three when the mystery pod takes off right at the end of the episode, the pod was sitting just next to the third shuttle bay.

my point exactly, someone had to be aboard in order to use up the air filter. when asked if her had been previous occupants to destiny tptb responded not that we know of.....as in ther might have been, but we are not aware of it yet.

thats the thing the life support was not running while no one was on the ship, the very first sequence of sgu season 1 episode 1 scene 1 was of the ship starting up again. while no one is onboard destiny shuts all systems down including life support, other wise with the leaks the air would have been depleted long ago. as the ship started receving an incoming wormhole, it awoke, restarted systems, and repressurized as best as it could.

                ONCE AGAIN!

We were TOLD by the WRITERS that NO ONE has EVER been aboard!
I'm yet to see any proof of that.

What the writers say and what turns out to be fact are often different. So I wouldn't exactly call that 100% factual information. The writers have often said one thing, only to have something entirely different be the case.

scene one lights com on in various hallways, various systems come alive, ship pressurizes. its all during the opening credits! the ship appears off in the distance, and does a flyby, we close in on the observation deck, crossfade to interior we see lights commng on, we see the apple core start up, we see the air pressurizing from the vents then we see the gate kawwoosh, and the scott false thru, its all there

We also saw lights go off in Darkness and not effect the life support.

yes we call that bacteria and rusting. Oxygen is a pretty good oxidizer you know. and metal, the stuff the ship is made of, is a pretty good reducer.

the filters were not filled with metal, in fact rush could not even fully identify what it was the only thing he could do was suggect calcium carbonate as a replacement. if it was an alloy then he would have suggested replacing with parts of the ship.

yes destiny was shutting down systems trying to keep life support online becuase destiny knew the crew was aboard.

Your guessing. Their is nothing to prove that they stayed on because of a human presence.
