Ahhh...but did she or didn't she? I mean...since Grace wasn't really there...did she really see it, or was it just her concussion playing tricks with her mind? Was the camera even operating or did she just think it was?
We may never know for sure on that one.
This is what I think too. I also agree with you about whether the cameras would have been working at all. Anyway, definitely anything about Grace that Sam "saw" on the monitors would have been hallucinating. Besides, (tries to remember the whole other part of the Saving Grace story, you know, the not-Jack part ) wouldn't the alien cloud thing have made sure the surveillance system was not working properly if only just to be sure there wouldn't be anything for us to go back to? Or would they not have had that kind of control? So the monitors would all just be blank or snowy as would any recordings.
Don't worry about it... I think a lot of us think of eps in Shippy scenes instead of episode names
There's ''Jack's head on Sam's stomach'', ''Jack holding Sam close on the ship'', ''Jack singing the naughty song'', ''Sam yelling at dr Lee'', ''Hands touching while passing the file'', ''Jack meeting Dad'', ''Humming in the elevator''...
LMAO! This is the best definition I've ever seen of a Sam/Jack shipper!
On the subject of body language, and also earlier conversations about the differences in the fishing scenes in Threads and Moebius, I just noticed that not only does Jack come across as more relaxed in Moebius, but his body language screams it.
See how in Threads his legs are crossed away from Sam, whereas in Moebius his 'stance' (if you can have a stance while sitting!) is open, turned more towards her, with his outer leg raised almost like a barrier against the outside world. Yet another indication that the Moebius fishing trip was post-resolution, whereas the Threads one was pre?
This is something I'd noticed too. I mentioned it here way back and can't remember if there was much discussion and I can't find where this more current discussion started. Anyway, my thoughts on this...
Also notice that Sam's position has not changed. Not a bit. She is still sending the signal that she's not interested. Initially I was very upset about this. I can be too emotional sometimes, it's just a show for cryin' out loud. I mean, now that I think about it, maybe she's just too engrossed in impressing Jack with her casting skills (which are pretty sucky ) that she has to turn away from him in order to focus. Yeah, that's probably what it is.
i had a sam and jack dream last night about them being happy together and jack asking daniel to be his best man
and woke up with a tear down my face *sniff*
also some reason vala and thor were fighting over who would be maid of honour
Thor, all the way! He's known them longer and it IS the 21st Century... and it IS Stargate. Who says the maid of honour has to be a woman??

Awhile back, somebody made a comment about how in "Allegiance" there's a scene where Jack is "checking out" Sam. I found out which scene and had to go back and see what I missed and laughed right out loud at how obvious he was. Here are a few screencaps from that scene:
I have read posts about "2001", where at the end Sam is lying on the ramp in pain and the rest of the team is just standing around doing nothing to help her, even though a medic is right there on the scene. (Many people have been annoyed that the guys seemed unconcerned about Sam and were standing around joking while she was laying there in pain. I kind of always agreed with that.) Well, I was looking at that episode with the screencap program yesterday and noticed (after watching this episodes several times and not noticing this before), that during nearly that whole last scene, even though Jack isn't doing much of anything except stand there, that his eyes almost never leave Sam; not even when Kinsey is in his face yelling at him. Jack only looks away from Sam as Kinsey is leaving the room and Jack hollers after him "that's O'Neill, with two 'L's' ..." and then holds up 3 fingers! Then he looks back at Sam and as he's talking to the others he glances away a couple times, but his eyes immediately come back to Sam, and he's looking at her in the very last frame of that scene. Hammond is the only other one of the group that's really paying attention to Sam during that scene. Daniel and Teal'c (when the camera is on them) are looking elsewhere. Just thought I'd pass that on for what it's worth.
I too was rather shocked at first how casual everyone was as she tumbled down the ramp. It's like they're waiting to see which way she'll roll. What a bunch of wusses! But the medic does get to her right away and I suppose if anyone had tried to catch/stop her it would have probably caused her more harm (she is military-trained in this sort of thing right?). And like you say, Jack makes up for it by keeping his eye on her and letting her know he is.
I'm always slightly surprised that that scene made it into the cut, as you say Hedwig, he's *really* not being subtle about it!
ah well as Nad would say "Jack checking Sam out" ep
