Ohh, the angst! It was beautiful up until the end when Jack did something I don't believe it was in character for him to do. And Rodney reading the letter. Eh. No. Don't think so. But otherwise, it was quite heartwrenching and angsty!

In my house we call that look the "smarmy, I love you" look (meant in a loving, good way).

Yeesh.

Why not just stamp a sign on their foreheads that say, "In Love. Deal with it."

And...after previewing it before posting, can I just add that neither of them are looking away, not dodging eye contact, not doing the "look and turn when the other looks" dance. Full-on, deep into the eyes and loving smile contact.

How can any fan of the show doubt that they love each other? It's right there for all to see!! And then when he asks her to lunch...I love that scene The only bad thing I hate is that in what an ep or two 'Grace' comes up and then all those great moment that could have been between them go poof! in the wind...stinkin potato head!!

I like that ep's beginning as well when Jack had to go get Daniel, the first person he goes to is Sam to let her know he'll be out there without the covering of the Air Force. And wanting to make sure she was ok with the Supersoldier mission.

The looks, the unspoken "I love yous", the non-verbal "you better make it back here alive because I can't do this without you"

At least, that's the conversation playing in my head during that scene.
