But, I came across the 'blue jello' awards and just have to ask a question that has been bothering me for years. I apologize if you've answered this in the previous 3500+ posts, I'm on number 30.

What is with the blue jello? !?!?!?!?

How did it start being on the show? Does it have some special significance? Is it a particular favorite of an actor/director or something?

Don't get me wrong, I love it in the show and the fact Sam is so disappointed when it isn't on the menu. But where did it come from?

Ah, even the power of positive thinking wasn't enough ...

And I do agree with you that AT, as part of an ensemble cast in Sanctuary, probably continues to make sure that the script reflects the talent of the diverse cast. What I'd like to see is

Dr. Magnus eventually going back to her long blonde Victorian hair. The black sometimes seems too severe IMO. She really looked lovely at the beginning of Webisode 6 and I think that she is far enough from the early stages now to not be confused with Carter. I never saw her as Sam anyhow, as her accent and everything about her is different.

Me too. From what AT said in some interview or other, Helen likes to sport various looks in clothes, why not change her hair?

I was thinking chestnut brown, actually. The black washes out the skin tone too much, but I think a nice brown would look good.

I know a lot of people have said that Helen's hair LOOKS like a wig. It's very obvious. Given how good wigs can be, I still wonder whether it's meant to look like a wig. You know how Druitt has changed and lost all his hair etc, what if Helen's lost all her hair or gone grey or something and is trying to hide it (so as not to arouse suspicion about her age, rather than vanity).

I doubt this idea more and more as the show progresses, but hey, I love to theorise.

I think it's very cool that Amanda is getting some recognizition for her comedic talents. Hopefully she'll get more opportunities in the future to do comedy because she's a natural.

I was just thinking that the other day while watching The Last Comic Standing...I get more laughs out of Amanda in the behind the scenes stuff then I do out of half the so called comedians on the tube!
I'd love to see Amanda do a stand up routine...she's brilliant!! But then I'm not biased in way...right??? hehehe!!

And I might share after a bit more tweaking in photoshop.

We have a children's tv show down here called Banana's in pyjama's and the two banana's are simply named B1 and B2...guess what else down under is named B1 and B2??? Sorry...all the talk about boobs had me thinking again...ooops!

I actually like the dark hair...the pink streak is kinda weird but still cute on Amanda/Helen. I don't want to see Helen go blonde...but that's just me!

I think it's from Urgo, IIRC.

Sam tasted it first in that episode and liked it...then it became a thing for her.
