I like the idea of fic posted in categories like the Stargate Fan Awards http://www.stargatefanawards.com/eFi...&parentcatid=4 You know stories listed in categories (h/c, humor, adventure, romance, etc)

I also think there should be a little description about the story, the rating, and any warnings.

I'm not that crazy about fanfic.net chapter by chapter posting. I like that it keeps them all together (but on dialup it becomes a bit of a hassle going to a different link for each chapter) I prefer the stories to be in one post or for the really long fics several posts. I like how Jo R. post her stories http://randomramblings.faithweb.com/...n_novellas.htm
There is a link at the end of each post leading me to the next, but there are not a whole lot of links for each story. ***wow I so hope this makes since to someone else reading it. it's oh late hundred and I know what I'm trying to say, not sure if anyone else will though. ***

I also like the idea of plot bunnies & challenges. what about a place for people willing to Beta read and those looking for Beta readers. What about a place for feedback regarding the fics and pics?

Samantha Carter. A name that we all know to well. A name that gives us hope and strength along with the courage to face our fears. I have grown quite fond of this character because she is what I want to be. As a soldier, it gives me goals to reach, that if I can do what she does for her fellow commrades than I to one day can step up to a full bird or maybe even a one star. She is by far a great role model for women and even men. In the seasons she has grown and along with us has become wiser and stronger.
IMHO she is one of the best female characters that tv has ever given us.

To Amanda it takes a strong person to make a strong character, thank you.
