Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

"The exact number of cells is unknown, however, Daedalus-ships have sustained bombardment for several minutes, so presumably there are at least fifty to two hundred warheads onboard."

I seriously doubt it is near 200.

                  My Corvette submissions.

                  1)
                  Name:
                  Themis Class Corvette
                  PC-403 (Patrol Corvette)

                  Nations:
                  All Stargate Treaty Nations.

                  Role:
This ship is designed to be a mass-produced border patrol craft.
It is not designed to venture far from its supply base.
First line of warning of border incursions.
                  Pirate activity interdiction.

                  Size:
                  49m long.
                  14m tall.
                  26m wide.
3 decks total, each being 2.5 meters tall.

                  Crew:
                  Crew size: 21
                  Officers: 4
Officers: Captain, Commander, Chief Engineer, and Chief of Weapons.
                  Enlisted: 17
Gunners: 8 (On duty: 2 at a time, in combat, all take a post).
(Gunners can double as Security for boarding actions)
Engineers: 9 (3 shifts of 3, in combat all are at posts).
The entire crew is cross-trained in ship operation and repair.

                  Physical structure:
The ship vaguely resembled an Al’kesh from the rear, having 3 engines, with a upper wing and lower wing encasing them. This is where similarities end. The ship is rather boxy in design, and rectangular, unlike the Al’kesh pyramid top and flat bottom. Somewhat resembling, from the top, a slightly less triangular Al’kesh, or more rectangular Supergate segment.

                  Propulsion:
                  One Standard Asgard Hyperdrive.
Three small Ion drives act as the sublight engines.
Anti-gravity systems paired with lower ion thrusters allow for landing.

                  Power Source:
Twin Naquada generators provide power to the ship. These have a very high output for their size, and are very efficiently designed.

                  Weaponry:
                  Anti-Fighter/light-anti ship weapons:
1 120mm railgun on the dorsal surface.
1 120mm railgun on the ventral surface.
1 60mm railguns on the dorsal surface.
1 60mm railguns on the ventral surface.
1 60mm railguns on the port side and
1 60mm railguns on the starboard side.
1 60mm railguns on the stern surface.
2 banks of 10 Anti-Fighter missiles, one on the port and one on the starboard.
                  Main weapons:
2 Naquada enhanced nuclear missiles that are each slightly more powerful than the ones on the Daedalus class, though smaller. They are also shorter ranged.
They both are in tubes facing forward.
The missiles are known as "Shield-Busters" because they are specifically designed to focus the majority of their detonation energy forward, this has the ability to pierce Hat'tak shields, but only enough to do limited damage to the ship before the shields equalize again.
2 full ship length 200mm coilguns with a 5 degree aiming ability. They are each located on either side of the bow of the ship. The guns can fire a 200mm Trinium-Naquada round at 15,000kph. The kinetic impact causes a slight nuclear reaction that will drastically increase its yield. The shell is designed in a way as to force most of the nuclear blast into the target. They fire at a rate of 2 rounds a second, each.

                  Defenses:
1 human designed, Asgard inspired shield.
It is very efficient in its usage and effectively defends the ship temporarily from most threats.
1.5 meters of Trinium hull armour.

                  Other:
One ring transporter, and one limited Asgard designed transporter. The ship is not large enough to have a full sized transporter, but it is capable of transporters small groups of people like on the Daedalus Class. It can not transport more than 21 people at once, or the equivalent mass.
Powerful Ancient inspired, Asgard implemented, sensor array.
This allows the effective scanning range to be a great deal farther then on ships several times its size.
Only the sensor arrays on the small Destroyers and Frigates are superior in the field of non-capitol ships.

                  History and details:
The Themis Class was designed to fill the gap between the small Patrol Cutters, and the far larger Cruisers.
Corvettes are effective small craft that are easily mass produced, but efficient.
The US treaty with Russia and the other Treat Nations held after the uprisings..
The United States designed this ship, but through treaty spread its design to all Stargate treaty nations.
The Themis Class is one of the first offspring of inspired technology. The shields are not Asgard made, but inspired from Asgard designs. They are Human built. The sensor array was inspired from the amazing systems on Atlantis, and the Asgard helped in its development. This ship is cheap, but useful. They provide deterrence from small time pirate activity, and allow for an early warning system against invasions like the Orii or Wraith, especially from another Galaxy. They hinder attacks from other races also, including the few remaining Goa’uld, and other threats.
They can’t take much damage, but they are fast and agile.
These ships will allow a far greater level of security for the Tau’ri in our
                  movement into an interstellar power.

                  2)
                  Name:
                  Invidia Class Corvette
                  PC-401 (Patrol Corvette)

                  Nations:
                  All Stargate Treaty Nations.

                  Role:
This ship was conceived as the first border patrol class,
Being outshined by the far cheaper, faster, and easier to produce Themis Class.
It is not designed to venture far from its supply base.
First line of warning of border incursions.
                  Pirate activity interdiction.

                  Size:
                  57m long.
                  16m tall.
                  32m wide.
4 decks total, each being 2.2 meters tall.

                  Crew:
                  Crew size: 29
                  Officers: 5
Officers: Captain, Commander, Chief Engineer, Weapons Officer, and Gunnery Chief.
                  Enlisted: 24
Gunners: 12 (On duty: three shifts of 4 at a time, in combat, all take a post, 4 being in reserve).
Reserve gunners are usually used for boarding actions.
Engineers: 12 (3 shifts of 4, in combat all are at posts).
The entire crew is cross-trained in ship operation and repair.

                  Physical structure:
The ship is ovate shaped, but half as tall as it is wide.

                  Propulsion:
One Asgard inspired Hyperdrive, being a crude mock up version, far more advanced then the Prometheus’ original however.
Two small Ion drive clusters (each cluster having 10 nozzles) act as the sublight engines.
Anti-gravity systems allow for easier landing, with an innovative form of thrust vectoring being used as the downward thrust instead of small ion jets like on most ships.

                  Power Source:
A single quad-sectioned Naquada generator provides power to the ship.
It has an efficient and resilient design, but is not as powerful as on the Themis Class, making this ship require less power intensive shields.

                  Weaponry:
                  Anti-Fighter/light-anti ship weapons:
1 155mm railgun on the dorsal surface. 1 gunner.
1 155mm railgun on the ventral surface. 1 gunner.
1 100mm railgun on the dorsal surface. 1 gunner.
1 100mm railgun on the ventral surface. 1 gunner.
1 80mm railguns on the port side and
1 80mm railguns on the starboard side. 2 gunners (1 each gun).
1 80mm railguns on the stern surface. 1 gunner.
2 banks of 12 Anti-Fighter missiles, one on the port and one on the starboard.
1 gunner (actually a missile launch operator-but that is a technicality).
                  Main weapons:

2 newer Tolan Ion Pulse and Goa’uld Pulse Energy weapon inspired energy cannons.
They rival, and actually far exceed, the weapons on board a Goa’uld Al’kesh.
They are very effective and efficient. They fire fast also.
They are rather large however, and prevent the storage of any larger nuclear missiles.
This means the ship doesn’t have the emergency “punch” as the smaller Themis Class.
However, this ship has greater staying power in that it can fire more than two powerful shots, and thus is even more effective against smaller foes. The experimental energy cannons allow more efficient assaults against shielded opponents, even though the Coil guns on the Themis were still quite effective even against shields (of the smaller variety, not capitol ship shields).
These are operated by the Weapons officer, and all weapons can be emergency operated by the weapons officer, but inefficiently.

                  Defenses:
1 human designed, Asgard inspired shield.
The shield on this ship is actually based on a merger of Goa’uld and Asgard principles. The Goa’uld principles allow the shield to use far less energy, but the Asgard inspiration still allows a level of protection far beyond what a Goa’uld shield of equal size would create.
The shield uses the energy wave-stream design of Goa’uld shields, but the power adaptation and adjustment in Asgard shields.
Of course, they are human designed and made, and thus more crude then either,
                  but effective.
2 meters of Trinium hull armour with thin Naquada lining.

                  Other:
One ring transporter, and one limited Asgard designed transporter. The ship is not large enough to have a full sized transporter, but it is capable of transporters small groups of people like on the Daedalus Class. It cannot transport more than about 30 people at once, or the equivalent in mass.
Crews are selected to never exceed that mass.
The sensors are of a slightly older style (still based on Ancient sensors, just not as refined as on the Themis Class), but by sheer power, make up for it.

                  History and details:
As with the Themis Class the design specifications, though designed by the US, were given to all Stargate Treaty Nations.
The Class was actually designed before the Themis Class, but unfortunately hit several road blocks (mainly with the power systems, and energy cannons) that prevented its employment until after the Themis Class. Its sensor technology is slightly older, but still powerful. These vessels are in more limited number then the Themis Class, and are used more on the borders with more advanced opponents. They are more expensive and rather disliked by the crews. The weapon systems have a tendency to overload in extended combat, which defeats the purpose for which it was equipped with energy weapons.
Do to cost and construction difficulty, this ship has 1/6th the Production rate as the Themis Class. So once in full production, this ship will be outnumbered 6 to 1.
These ships still are tough and useful.
Their hulls are actually tougher then the hulls of the Themis Class, do to thicker armour, and the armour being lined with Naquada.

The Ha'tak shown in that was made by him with modifications to make it a lot more accurate size-wise. Since I suck at anything that isn't blocky I just modified his Ha'tak to make that thing.

I have a dumb question, how does someone calculate the displacement/weight of their ship? I mean really we are using some rather odd materials and these ships don't actually physically exist so I'd really like to know.

                        Accept no imitations.
This wold be the imitation..because your copying my idea for a fleet. So you mean the Alternative gateworld fleet. The Real gateworld fleet is already in this section. At first i was actually angry that you started this fleet. But now im not, im not going to fight this fleet because its not worth the effort. This fleet is set in the MW and in 2011 after the Ori's destruction. We havent covered this in either version of the fleets fully and if you would like to do a fleet concerning it then thats fine. But can i just ask one thing. If you are going to be using new ships then can you respect the old fleet and not use ships that have already been voted in to that fleet. It would completely damage that fleet and im not going to argue with this fleet so long as it doesnt destroy the 2.0 fleet. This was inevitable and actually help me quite alot because i dont have to argue. But for the record, 2.0 will continue and its up to people in this community to pick which version of the future you want to follow.

I mean, if D-day is only 4 years from now, how many ships can we make and how far can our technology progress in such a short time. The show doesn't say how many ship yards we have, but it can't be more then a few. It would take time to make the ship yards and then the ships, and time to get all the resources for all this contruction. When does this construction begin and when does it finish? If I remember correctly, didn't you totally hijack the idea from that Jonas Quinn guy? Maybe a better title for this one should be "The better gateworld virtual fleet."

Hmm..looking back over the first post AJT made I noticed the date was edited out. We were discussing two dates, 2015 and 2011. I'm pretty sure we were going to stick with 2011, but I'll check and make sure. We aren't supposed to have thousands of ships like in the other fleets, but with a large amount of countries producing their own designs we can still have a substantial number of ships. As for tech, most ships use reverse engineered Goa'uld hyperdrives. The only ships that get Asgard hyperdrives are ones that would need to be able to go the Pegasus. We also have human built shields, though we haven't determined how strong they are gonna be yet. Only our most important ships will get Asgard shields. For weapons we are gonna have the standard stuff like in the show, plus a ship-based energy weapon based on the x-699. The main power source for ships will be a stable version of the mark 2.
