Wow, the remaining Gold tickets went fast since Saturday! I just had a feeling on Saturday that if I didn't decide if I was going to go to this con there and then I wouldn't get a Gold ticket, or a room at the con hotel if I'd left the decision even for another month! That feeling paid off it seems.

I'm not making up my mind yet ...we have been considering it as Chicago is close enough to Toronto for Michael to travel from if he's filming a 3rd series of Saving Hope next year...but with the news that now Amanda has been announced for Fedcon in the May/June weekend along with Michael I'm holding off to see if perhaps RDA will be announced too...I know he LOVES Fedcon & would I'm sure do it again and Paul Brown has promised LOTS more Con appearances around the world soon....Germany is closer and easier for us but harder for Michael to get away from during filming ...ooo decisions, decisions....as I'm not an SGA or SGU fan, my decisions hinge on the best line up for SG1 for me.....

SILVER ADMISSION WEEKEND PACKAGE

The SILVER WEEKEND PACKAGES offer a wonderful way to attend the three full days of the convention filled with live entertainment, great celebrities, and these benefits:

1) Reserved seats in the main theatre where all our major guests appear ALL THREE DAYS and you see all the events too! These seats are YOURS, come and go, all weekend. These seats are located behind and/or to the sides of our Gold Weekend Patrons and you can pick out your actual seat when you place your order.

2) Complimentary in-person autographs* with amazing guests including Joe Flanigan, Michael Shanks, Paul McGillion and more to be announced. That's right: you get all these in-person autographs when you "GO SILVER WEEKEND." NOTE: this list is tentative and subject to change.

3) Amongst the first to get autographs: we go row by row: you are in great rows: you get the idea! You go up to meet the stars and get in person autographs right after our Gold Weekend Patrons.

4) Complimentary admission and same great seating for the STARGATE CELEBRITY CABARET scheduled for FRIDAY night. Here’s where some of the attending celebrities do what they do best: entertain audiences! Performers to be announced.

5) Pre-Registration: we get you set for the weekend before other patrons and we give you first crack at the exclusive merchandise! Silver Weekend Package Registration takes place right after Gold Weekend Pre-Registration. Note that Pre-Registration is not a necessity, you are welcomed to arrive anytime regular registration is open and hours will be posted at this site prior to the convention.

Well, I'm coming to Chicago!!! Bought my ticket and booked the hotel room!

I couldn't miss the final N.American Stargate party! It will be wonderful to see some of you again, as well as the lovely guests! I hope a load more guests decide to come join the final fling and we get a good balance of guests from all 3 series'!

I'll just be staying for 4 nights so I guess there isn't really much time for any sightseeing. Unless anyone can suggest what can be done in between con times.

I'm glad I finally got my passport sorted out, I can make sudden crazy decisions like this!!

My mom has kindly offered to cover the base cost of my airfare with some of her airmiles. What's crazy is, on the days I have selected for travel (the Thursday before the convention and the Monday after) there is only one direct flight to Chicago from Vancouver and vice versa.

I have. Creation has their rate code up, but if you book through the hotel directly (westin.com), you can find lower, refundable rates. Sent you a PM as well.

Christmas is coming?! (My family pitched in this summer for my kiddos birthday and that paid for his airfare and con tickets. He's also getting his con ticket for Christmas this year)
