*huggles the Woohoos who need it*

Cheers for the woohoos who have happy news

*is still jealous at the people going a week away next year* ....wait a min...if I had money I could go...interesting issue

Oh and I finally had "official" word about the whole thing of this morning. According to my friend, who saw the British girl walking in front of the building while she was missing she looked "normal"...till she started talking...there was something with a dog out of a car and when my friend asked her about the fire alarm since she excited the wrong side of the building from where they were, she said she "probably did it"...the british girl rambled about lead up to the finale and giving a message...there were also papers with random sayings spread all over our floor and according to my friend she was a bit wacko. Then they later found out that there was something with drugs and she hid it in another room...so the cops were looking for drugs there instead of "drunk" what most people heard...they didn't find it since that room is SO messy but the girls in the apartment found it later under some paper towels and gave it to the front desk(since the police already left with the girl). My friend had to file in a police statement/report and the british girl is taken to the hospital....
So far that's all we know but according to her friends she was already behaving weird the last week...which I agree with seeing the times when I spoke with her she was behaving very weird but didn't really pay close attention to it.
I hope it's gonna be alright since nobody has heard/seen of her after that...we don't even know if she is coming back or not.
The bad thing is that we have an "RA"(resident assistent) who hasn't even informed us about anything yet...so there are still enough people that have no idea what happened this morning...although the rumors are spreading quickly.

Now off to my weekend trip in 20 min

I always thought it had somehing to do with Martin Gero being a Marty. I don't know why, but I did...
Hmm. Could be Probably also something to do with me not really liking certain names being shortened. I never called Michael 'Mike', for example.

No time for a proper post as I am at work. Busy but having a slow moment.

Can't wait for tomorrow to start AT's B'day celebration so I begin with cake and wine!

If you have never had this wine before I highly recommend it!!!!!
This is an Australian Shiraz is the same style of the "top-of-the-line Molly Dooker" at less than half the price! Dark, brimming with cocoa, fresh blueberry and spice; an abundance of black cherry, dried plum, freshly cut tobacco and coffee dominate the palate. Supple tannins prevail but are nicely integrated. It’s a very pure mouthful of Shiraz. Perfectly structured, zesty acidity carries the flavors over the entire palate penetrating each taste bud. The finish tends to linger for over a minute.
                    Jumble, PM on the way!

My bessie mate is here and we're working our way through the cocktail menu. Can I just say mojitos - real ones, made with fresh mint, not that stuff you get in a bottle - are absolutely lush!

We also invented the "Woo Hoo" cocktail. It's like a Woo Woo but made with pear schnapps instead of peach. It's also absolutely lush but then, yes, it can't help but be.

Blimey the party isn't until tomorrow. Best slow down.

As I almost certainly won't be around at all tomorrow....

                        Happy Birthday Amanda Tapping!

                            Ok

Just spent nearly an hour trying to sort out my email problem Several people have sent me emails in the last couple of weeks, but I didn't get them. So I checked out the Virgin site and it turns out they've changed stuff lately and I had to alter my username. Thanks for telling me Well I changed it, and watched in horror as it downloaded all my emails for the last month - 2135 of them Then I had to go through deleting them and trying to spot all the ones I hadn't seen before. Great fun - NOT! And I think I'm still missing a few.

Still, it's done now so I shouldn't have any more problems *crosses fingers*

                            Isn't technology wonderful?

It was a very long morning at the doctors. Got there at 8:30 and got home at 11:30. Complete physical. Good news is my heart is extremely healthy. Doc was happy with the 24 lb weight loss too. My blood pressure is too low for anything helpful with the migraines so I am still stuck taking the two pills that stop a headache from becoming a migraine (some of the time ).

The not so good news is that when a doctor is feeling your neck and says the words "that doesn't feel right" your heart kind of leaps into your throat. Especially since your big bro' had tongue and throat cancer. When I get back from vacation (possibly before if they can schedule it) I will have to get an ultrasound. There is only one specialist that she trusts to do the job right so I will have no choice but to venture into New Haven. I don't like driving into New Haven.
Glad to hear you got some good news and sending good energy your way re: your ultrasound. If it's a thyroid issue (which it generally is if she felt something on your throat), they are very fixable. Fingers crossed for you.

                              Enjoy your vacation!

My range of motion is good, need to continue my physical therapy. The screws (that attached my new ligament to my patella and femur) aren't dissolving quickly, so another month with my knee brace locked at zero degrees. That means no driving! I thought I would have some sort of motion by now with the brace. Ugh! Oh well, it will come. At least I can walk around strait legged, soon with no crutches.
I know how hard patience is in recovery, but it will be SO worth it!
