1. He was actually 7lbs 8oz! Compact but SOLID. I had a rough night last night, but his momma unexpectedly giving birth on my shift was srs awesome. And it was a really, really beautiful birth too, unlike the drama of the night before. I didn't have to do much but catch this time.

2. That was pretty much my friends' reaction. They STILL tease me about it 3 years later. I've never seen someone look so baffled as when I asked Flanigan what show he was on. Hee! He said, 'wow, you know, I've been to tons of these things and NEVER met someone who didn't know who I was.' What can I say, I was there for BSG. I hadn't even heard of SGA at that point.

3. Just don't name one Kali. One of my cats is Kali and she's nuts. Names are important!
