That is my biggest fear....I hope I didn't poison her with some really bad wine. The comments were favorable. So I decided to buy a bottle and test it out........here's hoping it was good

Hmmmmm....I post a few times and everyone disappears to the far corners of the world.....mustn't take it personal....has nothing to do with me...... grabs quilt and walks away whimpering.

It's definitely a good wine but every person has their own tastes and if they don't like something it may have nothing to do with the wine itself but with their own personal preferences. Having said that I really hope she likes/liked it.

Thanks for the encouragement....I never buy wine for anyone because I don't know their tastes. I bought this one because of the label...as good of reason as any for someone like me. I just ordered another bottle so I could taste it myself. Hopefully I will think it is good. But then I have the wine taste buds of a .....hmmm can't even think of anything with really bad wine taste buds. But you get the idea!

One thing to remember is that if you got the cabernet you need to let it breathe for a while. This is a heavy wine and needs time to open up. If you got the pinot noir then you should be able to drink it right away. Also, cabs always taste better with food (steaks, stews, lamb, semi-hard to hard cheeses ect..) because the fat content in the food is what softens the tannins (tannins make your mouth feel dry) in the wine. Cabs are very tannic so they benefit from food to balance things out.

This is hilarious! I agree with Estrela, nice legs.

I can't believe she's started lending out the quilt It'll totally lose it's Martin-ness before I get to snuggle in it.
