I've actually got a long weekend now
I'm going birthday present shopping with my brother on Saturday - this is a big deal because I see him rarely so to get to spend the day with him is kind of a momentous occasion.

This one called me a name that I can't repeat on this forum. But essentially, his complaint was that I gave him the correct change. <---that is not a typo, that was his problem. He didn't want a handful of change.

It is sooo silly season to work in retail. Oh the tales I could tell.

Also - some really cool news - yesterday I got an email from my real estate agent and also one from my Escrow agent telling me I am getting more money back. Apparently they held out more money then was necessary for property taxes until they were sure I qualified for the lower rate given to "seniors" (cough, cough) - so today I went and picked up a nice check. To celebrate, I bought a goat for the S4K village and went out for a really nice lunch today (no goat meat eaten) - and I still have a lot more money left and it is now in my saving account!

Her name is Lieze, she's 8 pounds and 51 centimeters long! Cutey and looks exactly like my brother! So she takes after the good side of the family

I'm stuffed full of a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner that I didn't have to cook or clean up after! The hubster and I are at the spa/resort that we went to in the spring. So relaxing. AND this time I actually have internet access in my room - the wifi has trouble reaching all the rooms.
