Yeah I expect to at least say hello to you. I still cant believe it. Makes me laugh when I look back on my set tour shots from 06 "oh there's Nathan he was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME" blocking my shot I might add I'm so excited!!! I hope you can make it Nathan

I'm going to the 2008 con. I've never been to Con in my life (cons aren't my thing--but my sister wants to go and she's been pestering me endlessly)...so what to expect. What's the difference between the tickets? Plus what's at the con...I'm not interested in autographs. So what else is there?

I'm going to the 2008 con. I've never been to Con in my life (cons aren't my thing--but my sister wants to go and she's been pestering me endlessly)...so what to expect. What's the difference between the tickets? Plus what's at the con...I'm not interested in autographs. So what else is there?

Photo-ops are by far my fav. Spend x amount of dollar and get photos with the guests at the con. MMMMM Michael Shanks! lol. Set tours, Q&A's, fun parties organized but other GWers. Gold gets you closer seats but these days Preferred and Gold are the same otherwise. some complimentary autos, set tour, cabaret. There are brunches and dessert parties and extra set tours. Oooo it's so much fun even when it rains and your drenched and giggling like a maniac lol.


In 2006 I went because chlex wanted me to go so bad. Now she hasn't gone and I'm going on my third one *giggles*

Went to the first in 2005 (yes DJF saw the massage..lucky girl you!), Erin's book for MS (loved it)
(have been lurking in the forum since then - just not posted in awhile..)

My friend has gone each year since that one, but sadly budget $ & wants did not mesh for me ...but am changing to new job (more $) so can hopefully save up to do all the things that I didnt do the first time (photo ops & the like).

& she was able to get seats in C for next year....double woo hoo!!!

Have to check & see if she is part of GW - would like to get more involved with this crazy bunch...there are a few people that I remember (oregon jen, erin, djf and some other names look familiar..LOL)

anyway looking forward to seeing you again....

well...i called the person i interviewed with and told them i would get back to them in about a week about the job...i just felt that i rushed into it so much that i was overwhelming myself or whatever..but they were very much fine with that so if nothing comes up before then, i will take the job i have interviews on monday and going to go talk to a couple employers tomorrow

Hi Guys!

You know, I've never been to a convention before. I never really felt the need. However, I have been reading about how wonderful and how much fun these Vancouver cons are and it really gets me in the mood...uh....er....to go to the convention

Unfortunately, I move from Illinois to Idaho May 2nd for a new job. My first real vacation from the company will be flying back to Illinois to see family(my niece who will be about 10 months old, having missed her birth for the move and my nephew who will almost be 5 years old ) My next big vacation will be flying to Vancouver for a few days(hopefully for the 2009 con) and then San Fransisco for a couple.

I think it would be a trip to remember

You can always try trading the autographs or *gasp* selling them once you get there, but besides that there's all the stuff that JJ listed Many of us have so much fun with each other that the con stuff is just icing. The only real difference between the Gold and Preferred for this con is the location of your seat (Preferred seats are behind ALL the Gold ) and the dessert party. The dessert party is a Gold ticket-holder exclusive... and last year wasn't really all that fun. They didn't allow cameras at all but we did get some yummy arm porn from BamBam

That'll be cool! I missed '05 'cause I had just returned from a con trip to Australia which pretty much tapped me out for the year. Made it the next year (duh ) and really wanna go next year. It's kinda hard to forget people like Jen, Erin and DJF! I'm sure you met Chelle and her sis, too.
