      If I remember correctly, the guy kidnapes Jeannie with the intention of getting to Rodney and it works. They come to Earth and when Rodney is investigating what happened to his sister, he gets caught too. I need to go sheck on the spoiler comm.

        He kidnaps Jeannie so she will help him cure his daughter with nanites, or something like that, McKay comes to look for her and gets captured as a bonus.. I think, I'll have to find the spoilers again...
