    Especially the Lemming. *hugs*

So I started working on my AU HS fic again. I need to make my planning sheet, which seemed to help a lot with my last story. And I'm still in need of a title. Guess I'll just leave it to the fic bunnies and see what they throw back at me.

      A Galaxy of Sparky

“I told you I’m fine,” growled Ronon Dex as the rest of the team escorted him to the infirmary to get his leg looked at.

“What is this now,” asked Dr. Carson Beckett once he saw Ronon limping through the doors.

      “It’s nothing doc,” replied Ronon.

“He was shot in the leg with an arrow, Dr. Beckett.” explained Teyla Emmagan.

“I told you before,” muttered Ronon. “I’ve had worse.”

“I’ll be the judge of that,” answered Carson. “Onto the table with you.”

As Carson got to work on Ronon the rest of Sheppard and Lorne’s teams got cleared and came to check on him.

“So how is Chewie, Doc,” asked Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard as he wondered over to where Ronon was.

“He’ll be fine in a day or two, Colonel,” answered Carson. “Chewie? Really Colonel. Ronon is more of a Worf if you ask me.”

“Do you have any idea what they are talking about,” Ronon asked Teyla. He really hoped his fellow Pegasus Galaxy native would have some idea of what his new friends were talking about.

“I do not,” answered Teyla as she shared a long suffering look with Ronon. She had joined the expedition not long after they had come to Atlantis but she still had trouble following some of their cultural references.

“How’s our patient, Carson,” asked Dr. Elizabeth Weir after she’d passed her post mission check-up.

“He’s fine, Elizabeth,” answered Carson. “The Colonel and I were about to debate whether Ronon is more like Chewbacca or Worf. Care to mediate?”

“That is an easy one, Carson,” stated Elizabeth. “Ronon is Chewbacca to John’s Han Solo.”

“And what am I in that scenario,” asked Rodney.

“The droids,” answered everyone in the infirmary that had ever seen the Star Wars movies.

“Am I like anyone is these . . . movies,” asked Teyla.

“Aayla Secura,” answered Elizabeth. “She was a Jedi Knight before the fall of the Republic.”

“I think Lorne would be Wedge,” added John. “I like the original trilogy better.”

“Good,” answered Major Evan Lorne before revealing his Star Wars geek credentials. “I get my own series of novels that way.”

“If you want,” began the recently arrived nurse, Anna Jones. “I have all the movies on DVD including a pirated copy of Episode III. You could show Ronon and Teyla the characters you are talking about.”

“That is very nice of you, Anna,” said Elizabeth. “I’m game if the rest of you are?”

Everyone nodded their agreement except Rodney. He had important experiments to attend to. So the rest of them gathered in the rec. room to watch the movies. After a short debate, they decided to start with A New Hope and watch them in production order. The group spent the next several hours watching the original trilogy only pausing the movies to answer any questions Ronon or Teyla had.

Everyone became so engrossed in watching the movies, they all missed the look John sent Elizabeth when Princess Leia appeared on screen in the metal bikini.

“So I remind you of a Wookiee, Sheppard,” said Ronon.

“You’re the big, strong silent type,” explained John. “And you look after your friends. Why wouldn’t you remind a Star Wars fan of Chewie?”

Ronon just nodded and went back to watching Episode I intrigued by the storyline of the series.

“I should turn in,” yawned Elizabeth. “I’m not looking forward to the pile of reports that will probably be waiting for me in the morning.”

“I’ll walk you to your quarters,” volunteered John. “I’m more on an original trilogy guy anyway.”

The expedition’s favorite couple that should be missed the knowing glances everyone still in the rec. room shared as they left. Everyone in the city knew if Elizabeth and John weren’t already a couple they soon would be.

As John and Elizabeth walked, they made small talk about the mission and the current situation in the city until they reach her quarters.

      “Elizabeth,” began John.

“No you can’t buy me a metal bikini, John,” said Elizabeth as she kissed John on the cheek before impishly adding. “How do you I don’t already have one?”

Elizabeth could barely contain her laughter at John’s shocked expression as her doors closed.
So cute. I love the fluffy ones. I would love to have seen John's face at the end. LOL

I know, so sad. Gonna miss it. One of those shows I started watching too late in its lifespan. And I'm scratching my head and continually mumbling "what the frak?" tonight.

... In connection with "Eureka" and my fic. Maybe I still need a longer hiatus.

For me, I can't judge a show based on the pilot. Although I think SG-1 and SGA are the exceptions.

                          Yes, it did!

And so far, "Perception" is winning me over. Especially cause I just saw LeVar Burton.

[SPOILER]I bet seeing Elizabeth in Leia’s metal-bikini would be the first thing on John’s mind, and I love the little teasing she did at the end there. I also have to say that I agree with which SW characters would fit the SGA characters.[SPOILER]
Thanks, Brie!! I couldn't resist having Elizabeth do that to John. It just felt right.

                                Maybe my muse is back.
