Phew! Finally made it home!

Went to the dentist after work. When you haven't gone for three years, they torture you. I took Aleve for my teeth/gums, and they're still sore.

I downloaded the Taylor Swift song from "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, "Safe and Sound", and I've been listening to it on repeat for the last two hours, trying to figure out how to make a Sparky vid with it. That may just have to be my weekend project.

Anyhow, looking forward to the long weekend. I have Monday off, since it's President's Day. Going roller coaster riding.

An Atlantis sidenote: when the Expedition originally left Earth, do you think the members included persons like dentists, barbers, and utility people like that? I mean, in S2 "Michael", the table that Rodney was sitting at in the mess got cleaned off by a bus boy who looked totally clueless about everything like he just stepped out of a 50s diner. My recent trip brought that up ...

Anyhow, watching an SGA eppy, then off to bed.

Well, when you have a crappy job that doesn't offer insurance for part timers, it's kinda hard to allocate the money. On the plus side, the hygenist said my teeth/gums were in pretty good shape, so after a few fillings for a preexisting condition, I should be good to go.

I don't know why, but after I read what you wrote about enlisted on KP duty, I started imagining a cracky oneshot where John loses a bet and has to be on KP duty for a day. Hee hee hee. We'll see when that actually comes to fruition.

I think I'm heading to bed. See y'all tomorrow!

I was so pissed off that they included tons of past characters like Kavanaugh and Ellis but couldn't even mention Elizabeth's name. Although in my mind, John had a little chat with her while he was waiting in the plane for his suicide mission to the hive. That's one of my "scenes to write" that I have in my head but can't quite get on paper.

I like that idea... the last minute risking your life for a suicide seems to be a thread tying John and Elizabeth together.
