Oh I've got it.

Here's another bit of my story, my favorite bit so far...comes just a bit after the part I posted before, but this was the start of Daniel and Crysta's romance...

“Love, ye shouldnae try to walk just yet,” Daniel gently pushed me back to my seat on the edge of the bed, but I wouldn’t stay sitting down. I couldn’t. I knew it would speed up the process of saving the kingdom and I’d have to leave sooner, but at the same time, I’d have the possibility of finding a way to stay here in Cairdea.

“Daniel, I’m fine. The cut wasn’t deep; it just bled a lot that’s all. I won’t pull it open again just hobbling from the bed to the washroom or maybe the kitchen,” I fought the urge to slip into a Scottish accent of my own, not wanting to offend him. I stood up from the bed and winced at the pain, then proceeded to take a few steps.

It was only then that I noticed I was wearing one of Queen Carmelina’s nightgowns. I shot Daniel a terrified look, wondering how I could have been changed out of my clothes if I was unconscious. I didn’t think Daniel had any right to be seeing that much of me and I was all set to rip into him about it, when the look on his face made me stop in my tracks. He was laughing at me.

“Oh Love, I’m not that sort of a man. Cora and Queen Carmelina helped you change whilst I was patching up a few scratches on Miss Leana,” Daniel’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he watched the expression on my face go from anger to amusement, “Though I do suppose you can change yourself into something slightly more presentable on your own now you’re awake.”

“Why yes, I suppose I can. Would you mind excusing yourself from this room while I change?” I giggled and curtsied, holding the edges of my nightgown out to the sides. Daniel smiled sheepishly and ducked out of the room, leaving me to hobble across the room to the wardrobe.

Vic's lie? Well I think, she figures she's protecting them both and her heart's in the right place, but it can't be easy to say that...when we all know how she really feels about Butler

I like the bits of your story, Aang. All medieval and stuff, is it? I like that.

Ah quite alright Jae'a. I wasn't supposed to still be here...but Mum fell asleep and I never woke her up

..Actually not really all medieval. It starts out in our time, until Crysta and Cora find the key to the other world...

Yes, suppose you could call it that. Sort of reminds me of the Narnia series at times...ahah.

Except one detail I realized while talking to Dell last night.

I have characters named Elizabeth (Aunt Liz really...), Beckett (the Pegasus) and Teyla (she's only mentioned, not actually there yet) and Daniel...do you think I had Stargate on the brain when I was writing this?!

...I love that Beckett the Pegasus belongs to Daniel, who is my Carson Beckett ripoff character...
