Good thinking. I still fail to think of Talyn as other babies. I still consider him an advanced ship that has elevated senses, but not alive. Something like an organic computer. Same way I think of Moya.

      Episode(209)- Out of their Minds
      -Comments:
1- One of the funniest episodes ever. Even funny in a "certain" way. They took advantage of the situation.
2- Ben Browder's performance as Rygel was very good, but not as good when he was Aeryn.
3- Claudia Black's performance as John was very good too as was hers when she was Rygel. The only problem was the accent.
4- Lani Tupu's voice performance as Chiana was one of the best, but just OK as D'Argo.
5- Gigi Edgley's performance was the best as both D'Argo and Pilot.
6- Anthony Simcoe's performance was one of the best as Chiana. He was unconscious when he was Pilot so I can't tell.
7- Hmm... so lovers trying each other's bodies? I see... Who are those writers??!!!
8- First time they had to wait 3 arns to shoot again, then this time, they just did it right away. I can't believe how they missed this.
      -Question:
1- What exactly did Zhaan do to get herself out of the handcuffs? And if she could do that, why didn't she do it earlier?
2- What does the shield have to do with switching bodies?

I'm not going to answer all the earlier ones...

        1. Can't remember what she did, just remember that she did.
        2. Something with the energy level of the shield...

Be honest, what would you do first if you suddenly found yourself in a body of an attractive member of the opposite sex? I'd do what Aeryn as Crichton did. But it's one example of things that would probably have been done differently if the show had been written by Americans.

          Episode (210)- The Three Crichtons
          -Comments:
1- One of the worst episodes. So boring. No excitement or thrill whatsoever. That's why I don't have much to say or care to say.
2- The fight scene at the end was similar to the fight between the 2 sheppards. So many similarites with Stargate.
3- Looks like the DRDs have a lot of work with all those floors of Moya cracked.
          One Question
Were the different versions from 2 different realities or just clones? And why was Moya gonna get sucked into another dimension?

Did you realize that you haven't answered the questions? One you don't now and the other don't remember. Admit it, the reason, you replied only to get an answer for that. You want to know how a guy would think in such a situation.
I guess I'll consider it retorical *evil grin* because you won't like my answer at all. What do u think a guy would do?
Indeed, it would have been different if it wasn't written by americans or written for kids, but how much did u think it will get? There's still a limit. It's not a porn show.

Episode (211)- Look at the princess(1): A Kiss is but a kiss
              -Comments:
1- So we're back to the tension again??!!!
2- Half a season is too much for the return of Scorpius.
3- Consumed a starburst with no reason and the others thought they left. Good Choice.
4- That same old story, the princess likes someone who works for her.
5- Familiar signal, thought it was Talyn. I got excited for nothing.
6- I can't believe how stupid Clavor is to make a deal with a scarran.
7- Liked the idea of the device that shows how the baby will look like. The only problem is, it's never gonna happen in real life.
8- I don't like all the idea of those builders or creators "dren". They call them gods for God's sake. This is stupid. So what if they created her, that doesn't make them gods.
9- Can't believe D'Argo is telling John to go through with the wedding other than helping him sneak out.
              10- What a shocking ending!!!
              -Questions:
1- What did Aeryn get a warning from the empress after Cargn beat her up? She was the one getting beaten up. I know she warned Cargn to but still.
2- I didn't understand that statue thing after marriage. What really happens after marriage? Somehow I didn't understand it, so please explain.

I guess that's enough for today. I HAVE to go to bed

There's two more episodes to go of this trilogy, lots will be explained.

The 80 years as living statues who at least hear what happens in their vicinity, is supposed to mature them while not aging them so they'll be more competent as leaders.

And of course the baby is Ben's. His wife is there too, as the short, gray servant dressed in black.

I liked this trilogy in general, but I didn't like the premise of telling genetic compatibility with a kiss...

Definately agreed! Told you he was a great actor! I would have liked to have seen him play Pilot too though...

1 - Because it's painful and has the risk of permenant nerve damage. She tried talking her way out of it first. Wouldn't you?
2 - With the shield only being at 60-odd%, only some of the weapon's blast got through and had this effect (for some reason) rather that killing them. Like Thunderstorm said, there are very few technical details..

                    Episode(212)- Look at the Princess(2): I Do, I Think
                    -Comments:
1-John really got himself in trouble this time. I see now way out. It's a maze.
2- Loved the space scene, when he floated there to reach the pod, but I guess that was more than 30 microts and that is a mistake.
3- How can the builders accuse Moya of something that she had no hand in. The peacekeepers did this. They could have just changed her back to be able to give birth to normal Leviathan. They could have shut down Talyn instead and why wait till now to shut Moya down. She gave birth to Talyn long ago. They could have even stopped the pregnancy earlier. Can't see the point. They are so arrogant. So they got the ability to change into smoke, that doesn't make them gods. Certainly wanna know more about the creators, just don't give me that gods crap. They definitely remind me of Stargate's ancients. Like them they can take non corporeal forms and very advanced and make excellent ships.
4- Good to hear Moya's voice, but I couldn't understand a word. All that echo. And I don't want Pilot is would die. If he did, I would kill the writers. After all he's gone through and near death experiences, and then he dies??!! If it happened, I don't know how far I'll go with my reaction. And How can they be fulfilled???!!! They journey has just begun.
5- WOW, Rygel is a true mastermind.
6- ro-NA definitely fooled me into thinking she's good. Thumbs up for Francesca Buller
7- Liked that John knew they won't kill him. If I were him, I never would have thought of it coz of panic.
8- Funny when Tyno mentioned that it's meant for Sebaceans. He'll look like that for 8 cycles. How will the citizens think of him when his statue looks like that.
9- So that's Jonathan Hardy. I liked his performance in this episode. Hope we see him again next episode and later too.
10- Can't wait for the conclusion.
                    -Questions:
1- Why didn't John run away as Aeryn suggested?
2- What happened to Chrichton when he was turned into a statue, is that coz of the pain?

                    Comment

                      1. John didn't run away because that would have upset the balance of power between these people and the Scarrans, and it could lead to a horrid war. I think it was mentioned in this ep but if not it's coming up in the next.
                      2. He was laughing his head off at the entire situation. And just IMO it was to make him look even more like Han Solo frozen in carbonite.

                      You'll love the next ep!

I've always had problems concentrating coz there r lots of things going on in my mind (other stuff not related to the show). Always make me miss stuff. Can't overcome even though I'm trying. That's why some of my questions are already answered in the episode, but I have no time to rewatch through this hectic life.

Never watched Star Wars before (Isn't Han Solo from Star Wars? I'm not really sure), think I never will. Not a fan. Tried to watched before, but found it stupid. Something for kids.

                        @Everyone,
Sorry if I ask questions that are answered in the episode and If that upsets anyone who answers them. I'm not very good with concentration. Besides, some of the episodes have terrible sounds that make it impossible to hear or understand.
Anyway, I love the discussion. It's a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who participates. Glad I decided to watch the show.

Have u read my comments on this episode? If u did, you would have noticed that I did mention that SGA episode. Just didn't really go into details so as not to spoil the show for anyone who hasn't watched it. I remembered that episode right away. So obvious, BUT Farscape made it first. So it's SGA that stole the idea.
I'm sorry. I thought my reply was vague and not too terribly spoilery to the story.

2- Why didn't they really die after they are killed the same way in the portrait?
3- What happened to the portrait?
4- Is it intentional for Rygel's stories to be the B-stories in the episode? Why do they do that?
1.My understanding was that she wasn't exactly real and more of a construct of Maldis.

                              2. Magic of sci-fi. Maldis feed on peoples' fear so he wanted them trapped rather than dead.

                              Here's what the transcript said:

Chiana: Well, put himself back together - he couldn't yet break through to our physical plane. So he had to manipulate matter to form Kyvan and her ship, and create the painting which would not only bridge both realms but also allow - well, play on, our fears - which would allow him to capture us, and grow even stronger. Clear? Then when Aeryn blasted Kyvan, which was actually just an temporary extension of Maldis, it weakened Maldis enough for Zhaan to make her move. Simple.

Rygel: But why - I mean how did Zhaan-? Ugh- Best not ponder questions like these that only make your head hurt.

Chiana: Forget about it. Sit back and enjoy the happy ending.

Rygel: What happy ending? My priceless Hynerian tiara is gone. Vanished! Just like Kyvan and her ship!

Chiana: Oh. Well, we can't have everything, Ryg.

                              3. I'm assuming it was destroyed.

                              4. Rygel sort of gets an A story every now and then. He is a puppet after all and it took like 7 puppeteers to animate him so it was kind of a chore to move him around. For a puppet, I found him to pretty darn developed for a character by the end of the show.

                              Dream a little Dream

2- Why were Zhaan and John on a transport pod? How is that significant? They could have been on Moya, it wouldn't have made a difference.
3- Why did they frame Zhaan, but not Rygel or Chiana?
4- I thought the uncharted territories had no civilized planets. What's that planet doing there? Why would an advanced race live in the uncharted territories?
5- So who caused these hallucinations? Were they the people who framed her or is it only Zhaan's mind?
6- So I understand that Rhumann was lying, but that doesn't mean he killed the victim. Why was he arrested?
7- Was that crappy law (I mean the changes made to the axiom to make it that crappy way) made by the ruling firm or is it older than that.
                              2. That's how they decided to write it to get just those two characters together away from the others.

                              3. Easier to frame one person rather than three.

                              4. I wouldn't exactly call a planet full of lawyers advanced or civilized. Uncharted just implies that it does really fall under the Peacekeeper Territories. PK are one of the big dogs in this part of space and so they kinda get to name things. I'm assuming it's the PK that named the uncharted territories because they don't have a powerful presence there...hence it's uncharted to them.

                              5. In Zhaan's mind. Guilt over thinking she had abandoned her friends to die. This ep was originally supposed to have been the season opener but I believe the Sci-fi Channel decided they didn't want it to be the opener because it didn't directly follow up on where the cliffhanger left off so it got bumped and retooled a tiny bit with putting John and Zhaan in the cargo pod.

                              6. He may not have directly killed the person but he conspired to have them killed and then frame someone else for it.

                              7. i think whatever law firm was in power was the one that got to make the laws. The Axiom was their sacred book that was used as the foundation but like all documents that form the foundation of something, people generally change them/add on as time goes by.

                              Out of their minds

1- What exactly did Zhaan do to get herself out of the handcuffs? And if she could do that, why didn't she do it earlier?
                              1. She's a plant so she, if I remember right, cut off nutrients to her hand so it basically withered and shrank so she could free herself. Only did it as a last resort as it probably takes time to heal.

                              My 3 Crichtons
Were the different versions from 2 different realities or just clones? And why was Moya gonna get sucked into another dimension?
Clones but obviously not exact copies. Whatever race was doing this specimen collection really wanted its sample so if it was voluntarily given what it wanted, it was going to suck everything up to get it.
                              IMO always implied.

That's not what I meant. I didn't mean to say framing them all. I meant one instead of the other. For example, framing Chiana instead of Zhaan or framing Rygel instead of Zhaan. What's so speacial about Zhaan to make them choose her?
