Wells there's probably little recoil... I guess the only way to explain it is that he has the gun on a higher power setting... thus the recoil.


You'd think that with as many Hive incursions they've made they would bring some combat shotguns on some of those mission.

in episodes 4 through 6 they had the Sterling SMGs as props

yeah that would make sense...it looked like he fired a .44 mag by the position and stance he fired his pistol...

lol seriously like we've already seen USA-12s around when the repicators we at Atlantis...think they would use them and i was hoping they would put that M26 on their G36Ks or M4s....hmm did you ever get use that? it came out pretty recently though....

THe Sterling SMG was used copiously in the filming of the original trilogy. They removed the normal magazine holder, making it look like a power pack, took off the folding stock, and added little grips along the barrel.

I suggested that if we could make some sort of energy rifle that was accurate at medium range and high RoF. The rebel blaster was my example...

NOPE....in Ghost in the Machine...Sheppard was using a G36K and in SG1...those "Uzis" are actually MP7 PDWs...much better than that old school UZI...and the other soldiers were using USAS-12 automatic shotguns...

Sheppard had a G36K in one hand and his other was a his side arm...a Para-Ordance P-14 .45 Custom
it can be IDd because you see him fire over 7 rounds...reaching about 10 or more rounds...clearly a custom because the standard .45 only has 7 .45 caliber rounds...
