its said in the episode that "an ancient race" built it.. but in on of the official RPG's its said that the Furlings terraformed and built the Touchstone, and that this happened 900 years ago..

No Stargate RPG is part of the official canon.

Maybe Reece was new Furling technology which is why the Asgard did not recognise it, also they were part of an alliance so maybe they have not contacted each other in hundreds of years, so technology changes in that time.

Also the Lanteans built the Pegasus Reps, so maybe the Furlings got the idea from them.

Or how about we go with the OBVIOUS and say that the Ancients were responsible for Reese, since ALL signs point to that. This is better than trying to figure out a way that it could be Furling tech.

We have almost no info on the Furlings, and the writer's aren't going to give us any more. Let's give up already!

reese was humanoid
ancients are the first creators of replicators. with more recently, the asgard, and the tauri.

im sorry. but this thread is about nothing more than a faint hope to brand technologies as furling. BTW, the sentinel was created by the inhabitants of that planet, but long ago, and they had forgotten how it was made, as they went more spiritual.

A little off topic, but Reece was created by a race that is assumed were the Ancients because she ended up creating the replicator's as toys but she lost control of them and later evolved to what the current Asurans are. Its too much of a coincidence.
