History: The BB-305 Pendergast begin its life as a design project to build a battleship using new Asgard technology as well as some Ancient technology. The Relative Singularit Generator was designs to originally to be fit into the Daedalus Class Battlecruisers, but the Asgard Power Cores were put in instead. it was decided to put an RSG in the ships to compliment the Asgard Power Core. The ship also recieved Asgard Pulse Cannons instead of Pulse Beams so less power would be used. The Pulse Cannons were also installed because the Pulse Beams were extremely limited in range. This was ultimately a measure to put more power into the sensors for better range. The Pendergast was nearing completion when the Atlantis expedition discovered an ancient Warship that was in damaged irrepairibly, so some Ancient technology was stolen. mainly the force field emitters. The emitters were attached placed on the Pendergast as an extra defensive measure to protect the crew from hull breaches. In mid 2008, the USAF Pendergast was completed and began its Shakedown. Its CO was the newly promoted Col. Marks. The ships combat was first up against a Wraith Hive Ship. It managed to win with moderate damage to the shields. The ship itself is currently in the Milky on patrol for any Illac Renin hataks that might want to attack Earth.

a single ship. build a large structure like the deadalus without the hangar bays, and place a project arcturus in it along with a hyperdrive, pulse energy weapons tied directly to the arcturus, give it a shield, and send it to pegasus.
teyla fools the wraith into thinking she wants info, and inform the wraith the vessel has discovered the wraith's ultimate weakness. they go there, the vessel starts firing and shreds the wraith attack fleet to shreds[at that time thwy may know of our new toys and so they send a 12+ hiveship fleet]

due to the arcturus the power equivalent of 25 zpm's will be generated. afterwards the arcturus is deactivated[on a timer, while everyone on board[a few] were transported off by the deadalus]

then stay there, wait for more wraith. if not go to the replicator mainworld and attack them. if needed use 2-4 arcturus and several directed energy weapons. not a hundred zpm's can stop it. if you use four you have a 100zpm output. if it's too unstable it will overload, devastating the asuran homeworld.

yes arcturus may proove usefull[it worked for a short period. afterwards the overload was inevitable]

You guys are making this far too complicated. Put an engine on a naquida-enhanced nuke and slap on a Goa'uld-type cloaking device so that it is pretty sure of getting through. Even if it costs as much a significant fraction of a Tel'tak, you're still coming out way ahead in terms of exchange rates, and the Wraith won't even know they're being attacked until they start blowing up. Sequence it properly (cloaked control ship using whisker-lasers to communicate with the weapons, and you can wipe out the entire fleet simultaneously, leaving no survivors to provide intel to other hives.

TBH Earth could start to make smaller ships, with the soul purpose of attack and defense.

Make them a third of the size of the current class and we could build 3 ships in the time it takes to build one 304.
A smaller vessel would need less power for shields, could be much more maneuverable. TBH you could probably keep the same amount and size of generators, hyperdrive engines, just cut back on the non essentials like personal quarters, use bunks, remove the 302 bays, much of the neck a 304 has and there you go your fleet gets built in a 3rd of the time.

Wouldn't a Baliskner be a weaker ship than a 304 with Asgard Plasma Beam weapons?
