This morning ABC has unveiled the cast of the newest season of Dancing with the Stars which will be going into it's ninth season this fall. The cast will include a politician for the first time, as well as the typical string of actors, athletes, and other random celebrities, and more of them. The cast this season has been boosted to 16, double that of the first season.

Starting things off we have the season 9 men of Dancing with the Stars, which will include:

Mark DaCascos – 45, a martial arts expert and film star. You're probably most familiar with Mark as the host of Iron Chef America: The Series, on the Food Network, but you might not have realized that he's starred in a lot of movies and been on several television series episodes, the most notable being Stargate Atlantis and CSI.

Yes, Mark Dacascos who played the Satedan Tyre will be on Dancing with the stars.

Steampunk-inspired sci-fi web series 'Riese' coming soon to a laptop near you (Video)

EXCERPT: 'Riese' will mostly likely appeal to fans of games like “Final Fantasy,” which I think evoke a similarly dark, epic feel, in a world that’s similar to, but very different than, our own. In that vein, the creators of the series plan to release an ARG (alternate reality game) on the show’s companion website, thesectishere.com, in September, a month before the premiere of 'Riese'.

Though the show is only beginning filming of the series this week, the production team has already been hard at work creating content to spark interest in the show. On the Riese website, there are several behind-the-scenes videos, a detailed description of the show's premise, and descriptions of the characters.

'Riese' will star Christine Chatelain (Sanctuary), SharonTaylor (Stargate: Atlantis), Ben Cotton (Harper’s Island) and Patrick Gilmore (Stargate: Universe).

I attended the charity auction on the sunday evening after the convention. It was a lovely event filled with wonderful entertainment, and was hosted by Mr. Picardo himself. The actor was selling personal memorabilia in order to raise money for the San Gabriel Valley chapter of Habitat. Over 5000$ were successfully raised during the entertainment-filled evening.

Here is the final part of this exclusive interview:

ME: You seem to be very much involved in charities: The Aids Pediatric Foundation . . .

RP: The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation… I’ve raised money for them with my CDs probably for, I guess it’s ten years now, and other things – auctions of cast things. I have a long relationship with charity and I believe in them a great deal. More recently, in the last five years, Habitat for Humanity, my local chapter, which is the San Gabriel Valley Chapter. We’re having our third annual charity dinner; it’s actually our fourth event because the first one was a brunch, but it’s our third dinner. Pat Arthur, who runs my website, has been instrumental in setting that up and she’s very popular with my local chapter of Habitat for her planning and her follow-through with these events. So we have that Sunday night. We schedule it so that as soon as the convention closes here, that the fans who’d like to come and are already in town can find their way over there.

By adding nearly one million viewers from Live + 7 DVR playback, (985,000), the fifth episode of Syfy's summer sensation Warehouse 13, became the most watched original series telecast in Syfy's 17-year history, delivering 4.3 million total viewers.

The August 4 telecast entitled "Elements," with guest star Joe Flanigan, also scored series highs with 1.8 million Adults 18-49, while garnering 2.2 million Adults 25-54 (the series' second highest performance in this demo) and posting a 3.0 Household rating.
