I clicked on the link. The article is from the Dothan Eagle newspaper out of Dothan, Alabama. Dothan is the "Peanut Capital of the World."

Too far away for me, but maybe some fans in the Southern Alabama, SW Georgia, or the Western Florida region can make it. Hope CS enjoys his sojourn in the South.

                  By Simon Reynolds, Entertainment Reporter

Having made a name for himself as an actor in Metrosexuality, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Doctor Who, Noel Clarke added directing to his impressive list of accomplishments this year with the gritty London drama Adulthood. We caught up with Noel after his nomination for BAFTA's Orange Rising Star of 2009 to discuss his promising future, out-muscling The Incredible Hulk, and his thoughts on the new Doctor.

Would you go back to Doctor Who now that you've moved into film?

"I love Doctor Who, I've always loved it. It's a show that's supported me, I've supported the show. Hopefully they'll come out and support me again and if the timing was right and I wasn't busy and they weren't busy and they wanted me it would be something to talk about... which wasn't a definite yes or no!"

                        Excerpt:

Last fall, studios were bullish with plans to put 40 or more films in production to fill 2010 and 2011 slates.

.....Agents, who urged clients to be patient until studios ramped back up their production machines, now have to go back and explain why those clients are getting haircuts on every deal. Already, several veterans have moved to other agencies; that list includes thesps Anthony Hopkins, William Hurt, Kurt Russell, Jessica Lange and Antonio Banderas; directors such as David O. Russell; and writers including Jose Rivera.

SG1 - William Devane - NEW Jesse Stone TV Movie Mar 1 '09:

                            From The Futon Critic:

(Please follow the link for the complete article.)

"Jesse Stone: Thin Ice" Airs Sunday, March 1 on CBS

JESSE STONE: THIN ICE, starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck ("Magnum P.I.") will be broadcast Sunday, March 1 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Selleck reprises his role as Jesse Stone in the fifth installment of the Jesse Stone franchise from Sony Pictures Television, which includes "Stone Cold," "Jesse Stone: Night Passage," "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise," and "Jesse Stone: Sea Change," the picture for which he received a Golden Globe Award nomination. The movies are based on the best-selling series of books by Robert B. Parker.

In JESSE STONE: THIN ICE, Paradise, Mass. Police Chief Jesse Stone finds himself in trouble with the Town Council when he inadvertently becomes involved in a shoot-out on a Boston street. His friend, State Homicide Commander Healy, is seriously wounded and Jesse comes under investigation by the Boston Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, which causes him to be away from Paradise for extended periods of time.

Jesse further alienates the Council by firing the Paradise Police Department's most prodigious ticket writer, resulting in a considerable loss of revenue for the town. His issues with the Council are further exacerbated when a celebrated out-of-towner shows up in Paradise in search of her missing child, and Jesse agrees to take her case. His continued defiance of the Council's wishes now begins to jeopardize his very job.

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Kathy Baker ("Picket Fences") and Kohl Sudduth reprise their roles as the only police officers in Paradise. Stephen McHattie reprises his role as State Homicide Commander Healy, as does William Devane as Jesse's psychiatrist, Dr. Dix. Multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Camryn Manheim ("The Practice," "Ghost Whisperer") joins the cast as Elizabeth Blue, a desperate woman in search of her child, along with Emmy winner Joanna Miles ("The Glass Menagerie") as a woman in Paradise who helps Jesse with his search for the missing child and Leslie Hope ("24"), who stars as a beguiling and attractive internal affairs investigator.

... William Devane, an Emmy Award and Golden Award nominated actor, was recently in the television series "What About Brian," "Crumbs" and "24." His additional television credits include "Stargate SG-1," "The West Wing," "The Monroes," as well as "Early Edition" and "Knots Landing," on the Network. His television movie credits include "Monte Walsh," Miracle on the Mountain: The Kincaid Family Story," on the Network, "Virus" and "The Preppie Murder." His feature film credits include "Space Cowboys," "Payback," "Marathon Man," "Yanks" and "Family Plots."
