That's Chris in Bird on a Wire (for 2 seconds) and not Amanda.

And Colin is not in CSI:NY. Nor is he in NCIS, but Corin is.

... Parker Lewis is another example of that: this 1990 series was an early favorite on the Fox Network (which launched in 1987), lasting 3 seasons. It made Corin Nemac, who played the title role, a star before moving on to other TV roles (including The Stand mini-series and a recurring character in Stargate SG-1) and big-screen movies.

MOONLIGHT The Complete Series DVD Review

                  2/10/2009
                  Posted by Nico

... Moonlight lays down the rules right off the bat. Crucifixes do nothing. Garlic tastes good on pizza. Sunlight weakens and could eventually destroy a vampire, but it’s definitely not instantaneous. A stake through the heart will paralyze a vampire… so will silver. The only surefire ways to kill a vampire – remove its head or burn its body.

... Alex O’Loughlin (The Shield, The Invisible) plays Mick St. John with, dare I say it, humanity. His conflict with doing the right thing and his vampire side is palpable as is his emotional connection to Beth. Beth Turner is brought to the screen by the lovely Sophia Myles (Underworld, Tristan Isolde). This isn’t Myles’ first run at vampires, but this time she’s on the other side of the fang. ... The show adds more flavor later in the season with David Blue’s (Stargate Universe, Ugly Betty) tech-friendly Logan who provides some assistance to Mick.

                  ... Final Grade – B

Robbin Dunne (Sanctuary), Peter DeLuise (SG)

                      http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/304...-slayer-tights

                      excerpts:

Robin Hood: Monster Slayer in Tights?
Julian Sands Robin Dunne Robin Hood: Beyond Sherwood Sci Fi Channel
If Robin Hood is such a great hero you'd think he'd be able to work in some monster fighting in between all his robbing from the rich to give to the poor.

I'd first heard about Robin Hood: Beyond Sherwood what seems like ages ago. It's only just now that progress is being made. Working from a script by Chase Parker, the writer of such other Sci-Fi offerings as Basilisk: The Serpent King, Reign of the Gargoyles, and the all-time classic Boa vs. Python, actor-director Peter DeLuise ("21 Jump Street", "Stargate SG-1") helms this ultimate tale of merry ol' England's favorite tights-wearing, forest-dwelling, arrow-shooting, always-sticking-it-to-the-man swashbuckler as he squares off with a fiendish monster brought forth by the Sheriff of Nottingham, now in the post-production phase.

The plot, according to production company Front Street Pictures:

A reimagining of the classic Robin Hood tale merges the elements of magic and medieval romance. The Sheriff of Nottingham has targeted Robin and his band of heroes dwelling within Sherwood Forest. To destroy his enemies, the Sheriff unleashes an unstoppable creature that transforms at night into Alina, a striking woman. Robin must find a cure for Alina before her terror spreads, all the while keeping his childhood love Maid Marion out of harm's way.

                      ....

Stepping into the role made famous on-screen in the past by such acting heavyweights as Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and a Disney animated fox will be Robin Dunne (pictured), currently appearing not-so-coincidentally on the Sci-Fi Channel series "Sanctuary", following his successful co-starring run in such DVD sequels as Cruel Intentions 2, The Skulls 2, American Psycho 2, and Species III. I think this may very well be the first time in film history that Robin Hood is being played by an actor actually named Robin.

DEATH NOTE VOL. 9 DELUXE EDITION (ADVANCE REVIEW)

                      EXTRAS:
The DVD case has great Gothic cover art with red foil stencilling for the title and a black translucent DVD case. It features reverse cover art and fold out insert of a maniacal looking Light and Ryuk. DVD bonus features include trailers and ads for Viz manga and video titles, production art gallery, and part 9, the last instalment of the Behind the Scenes featurettes. The last one is with voice actors Brad Swaile (Light), Heather Doerskin (Kiyomi), Kirby Morrow who many fans might recognize from Stargate Atlantis, stints on shows such as Blood Ties and he was the voice of Cyclops in X-men the Animation (here he is the voice in Death Note of Mikami), and ADR Director Karl Willems. They discuss their take on the anime and their characters, showing clips from the anime and behind the scenes of the recording sessions. There is also the final audio commentary on the last episode, 37, with Karl Willems (ADR Director), Brian Drummond (Ryuk) and Brad Swaile (Light).

Q: I heard that Robert Carlyle is going to head up the latest incarnation of “Stargate.” Do you have any more “Stargate” news to share? — James J., Springfield, Ohio

A: “Stargate Universe,” which is scheduled to debut in July on the Sci-Fi network with a two-hour movie, has recruited “Ugly Betty” actor David Blue to play Eli Wallace. Eli is a slacker/genius who will bring an acerbic wit to a group of soldiers, scientists and civilians who have been stranded on an ancient ship in the far reaches of space.

                                excerpt:

                                HOLLYWOOD, Calif. --
David Faustino, known the world over as ‘Bud Bundy’ from the ‘90s TV Show “Married… With Childen,” or, as his alter ego, ‘Grand Master B,’ recently began starring in a Web serial he and three friends created, via Sony’s new digital media arm, Crackle.

“Star-ving,” which stars Faustino along with co-creator Corin Nemec, best known for his work on early ‘90s sitcom “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” chronicles the life of the two down-and-out actors trying to eek by in a Hollywood that has forgotten about them.

Faustino and his three production partners came up with the idea after growing tired of the development process in Hollywood. “We had been pushing several projects around town for a couple of years — you know, hitting some dead ends and getting some things done and everything takes forever,” Faustino said. “And so we were just at kind of a low point and really frustrated. My partner Tom Bringewatt went home and kind of wrote a treatment for ‘Star-ving,’ which was taking my life and Corin’s life and just really exaggerating it.”
