Having watched all the trailers on youtube and lurking on here for a good while I can say I'm really looking forward to SGU! I'm liking the darker look of the Destiny and the new gate, and the general "industrial" atmosphere.

I really hope SGU stays the course and doesn't fall victim to the same problems of Voyager and Atlantis, where "home" becomes almost trivialised through ease and reliability of contact - part of the main draw of "stranded" series like this is how they deal with being cut off from home and everything they know, and consequently how they adjust, adapt and "grow together" against common goals and challenges, both internal and external.
