Stargate: Extinction" (SGA Movie) Pre-Airing Discussion/Speculation Thread (Spoilers)

Maybe it will be the "extinction" of Stargate: Atlantis or something?

"Extinction" could be a reference to the IOA's argument to keep Atlantis on Earth. Maybe they argue that with the ancient control chair now gone, Atlantis is Earth's biggest planetary defence (yes the 304's have Asgard beams but that doesnt mean they cant be beat) and if a new enemy were to come to power in the milky way (maybe as a result of the 3rd SG1 movie), then Earth mite face extinction without Atlantis.

But at this point "Extinction" could mean anything untill we get more information.

it could be alternate universe or something like that were they find out the human race has become extinct

or just came up with this now, they go to an alternate universe where the wraith are extinct and humanitys a plague thats out of control they return and realise how important the wraith are stargate: a wonderful life
