good episode, now we have more Ori ships in this galaxy we are in trouble, what happened to the ship that had the weapon on, did it blow up or what, and also did Adria survive and if they destroy the weapon will it bring back the Ori, or will Adria find a way around the device.

from what i gathered this links nicely into the first SG-1 movie...the Ori themselves are gone but their followers live on and the ancient weapon that SG-1 seeks is the thing to defeat their followers!

it also explains how the odessy *sp* can go to the Ori galaxy without being destroyed by the Ori themselves

Not to mention that it reminded you of the good old times when Jack and Daniel were talking. You keep guessing to the end about whether Daniel is Daniel or not.

And the ending? Man, it sets it up nicely for the rest of the season. Excellent episode!

Maybe it took out some of the Ori. That would royally piss off the remaining ones and weaken their numbers vs. the Ancients, making the recruitment of Milky Way followers all the more important.

It's possible the device was originally designed to self destuct, however it's possible Adria could just decide to keep it and wait until the original plan was finished.
