I totally agree with you Amanda Sam is a lot more happy in s9 and 10, she is playful with her fellow team members, she does joke a lot, and she smiles soooo much more, i really think it is because she is with Jack, there is just no other explanation i can think of. (Except of course, she might just be happy that is gone...)
