Kicking some buts and braiding my noodles
F-16's that fly with the moon on their wings

Washington weekends, on week days The Springs

When the job bites

And, I haven't posted this gif in ages. It's from the Reckoning, and you'll need to click it to get it to go each time, it doesn't loop. But I love how obvious it is Jack just can NOT pay attention to what Sam's saying (which amuses me after his bit about 'hot' in Moebius) and Jacob just knows this without even having to be told and immediately turns to offer a translation once Sam has spoken. Always makes me wonder just how much at that point Jacob knows and understands and accepts:

So, I can't remember all the times we've discussed it, but I know I've long believed the first time we hear the 'Sam/Jack Theme' is in PoV applied to AU Carter, and the first time we hear it proper for our Sam and Jack is in D&C.
In my watch through, I've discovered this isn't true. It's played for our Sam and Jack - well, our Sam specifically - when she's talking to Janet in 100 Days about missing Jack and whether that's a problem. Which is interesting, cause the music was first played at all when AU Sam was looking at her wedding pic and missing Jack, so I'd say it reinforces the idea that Sam's missing Jack is related to personal feelings she oughtn't to have rather than "No One Left Behind."
Just thought I'd share

And about the S/J Theme:
I said this before, but it still is something that keeps popping in my head... I really wish we knew more about how and why that particular theme was written... I mean, it's a tune that's set up for Sam and Jack (shippy) moments. If it came by accident, it was shippy thinking, if TPTB came up to him and said: ''We need a theme for Sam and Jack'' it shows just how planned the Ship was...
It's a win-win and I want to know
