In the dreadful event *knocks on wood bc it so isn't going to happen* that the movies don't run and run, do you think we'll come to accept the fandemoniam novels as part of the DV canon and fangirl them?

In more than a word....

I actually like the Star Wars novels. I mean, I got so far before I stoped liking them, but the first like 30 were really good. If that's all we can get with Dala then bring it on because I mean frankly, you can do a lot more in a 300-400 page novel than you can do in a 1-2 hour movie....

*SQUEES AT THE THOUGHT*

...and if it does goes to movies, all us aspiring writers can write big long involved novels with those characters in them...

In the end, so long as the characters don't do anything OOC then I don't care what medium they are in so long as it isn't comic books or video games (shudders at the thought of the Buffy and Angel series continuing those mediums and the thought of SG1 continuing in a similar medium that I hate)
